The LG filter is not the real thing
3/5

When we flushed our fridge with this new filter after 3 gallons of water, the water was still cloudy and dirty. The food was bad tasting. then went to Home Depot and got some supplies I bought a similar filter, too - I did not receive the LG filter as described on their website. There was no cloudy water, and it had a good taste. It came in a different package than what was shown online. The warning is in effect.

Breaking after only two weeks - It does not appear to have a model number - It may have been a fake
3/5

A couple of weeks after purchase, the product stopped working. As a result, cloud areas of particles began releasing into the water rather than filtering it. The LG filter appears to be fake by the looks of it. Below you will find a photo of the Amazon filter next to a new one I got from a local store yesterday to replace the defective one. Labels from this vendor are not the same as those from Amazon, and the filters do not bear the model number.

I am completely dissatisfied with this purchase
3/5

The LG filter may or may not be a LG product. The price is the same on their site, but I found their site to be difficult to use so I ordered from Amazon instead. There seems to be a high risk of fake goods being sold here, as they are allowing them to exist. This filter is making my water very cloudy, so I'm worried about it. Previously, I used a different filter, which I like better. There is a cloudy debris floating at the top that eventually comes to the surface like scum, but it is white. Can't bear that this cost $49! It looks like I will get the generic one and see if it is any There is a $7 charge for it.

As obvious as day is to night If Jiffy Lube tells you to change your oil, you get irritated and leave
5/5

The genuine item is more expensive than the generic brands, however, after reading other reviews (black water after installation), I decided to go with it. The software runs perfectly from the very beginning, clean and clear. In the past, I had my icemaker repaired, and the technician said it was not necessary to replace the filter when it started to glow. For example, Jiffy Lube tells you that you should change your oil every 3,000 miles, when in fact it is not necessary to do that. I was told to keep using it until the water flow seems to be diminished, that is the actual sign that the faucet needs to be My plan is to follow that recommendation. I will save some money by doing that.

The filter does its job well. Generally, the water coming from our regular faucet is pretty clean and has about 400 particles per million (which is just a little bit higher than safe to drink). In Waukesha County, Wisconsin, the water is pure and tastes good. The fridge filter I use is good enough to get 350 ppm, which isn't bad at all. Our original filter didn't do as well as I thought, but if anyone can report a filter that gets better than 350 (ideally closer to 100) then I would enjoy hearing ** In my previous review, I noted that my original filter got only ten out of ten I believed it was 15 ppm, but I was mistaken. From 10 to In bottled water, 15ppm is the maximum concentration.

There are things in water that are stringy
3/5

There have been sickness issues in the house ever since I bought this water filter (and my LG refrigerator in late 2015). I am not sure how long it has been like this. My first discovery of these almost worm-like creatures in the water was just a week ago. Next, I spent the next couple of days checking the tap water to see if it had that, but the water was Rather than sticking with my current brand, I plan to experiment with.

Knock Off Brand Almost Bought
5/5

I almost bought the knock off brand instead of this one, largely because this one is a bit pricey while the other one comes in a three Because I don't know much about these types of filters, I spent a lot of time reading reviews. The other one seemed to not protect against everything, so I went with the other one. As for the price, though I am hesitant about it, it protects more than theirs, which makes me feel that I have made a good purchase. Despite the impressive features of the filter, however, the easiest thing about it is how easy it is This was actually a simple matter of opening the fridge, opening the filter door, removing the old one, and replacing the new one. Here, I thought I would have a nightmare. And it turned out I could have done it in a few minutes.

The price was high
3/5

It was something that had to be replaced, so it wasn't too difficult. My company does not want to replace this every six months, and I'm not excited about that. The device is used a bit longer than expected before it needs to be replaced. My income is fixed and I do not have the means to afford this.
