Buying new cable is a sure bet. I purchased pristine cable. Although it came in a plastic bag, there were no instructions, which was a bit disappointing. I am writing this review based on first impressions. As soon as the PSP is plugged into the tv, it does not automatically switch to the TV. If you manually launch it, you'll need to go to your settings every time (perhaps it can be modified, researching now) and it seems uncomfortable to have the display zoomed in when you're using it. However, on the PlayStation 3 menu, there are only two aspect ratios to choose from. It takes up more screen space initially when you load the PSP launcher, but then declines to less than half when the game itself starts. Despite the improvement in size of the PS3 screen, it can be disorienting to play it. Having said that, the cable is only a couple feet long, so if you are comfortable with sitting closer to your TV or have an extender of some sort, then that should cure your problem. The fact that this doesn't exactly spell doom, but it is something to take into consideration.

I couldn't figure out how to get the input to work no matter what I did since the plastic felt poorly constructed. In fact, I even changed every color into every other color, and every combination of all colors, which took ages, with each combination disconnecting my PSP, and having to retry in between them. You should be aware that these are notoriously difficult to connect to TVs, and I was simply unable to do this. While I'd like to have given the product a better rating, I'll give myself the benefit of the doubt and give it a decent one.

There is a slight issue with the cord length, but I'd rather play my PSP games on the TV than suffer through that. You will only be able to see the audio on your TV if you don't change your PSP settings to change the display settings.

The purpose of it is served. I'm quite concerned by the cord's short length and how the plugs seem kind of odd to me. They tend to fall out of the ports on the TV, which is problematic when you want to use your PSP as a cabled It was pretty disappointing in terms of the picture quality, but I think more to blame it on my television than anything else. There's nothing that looks good on it that isn't HDMI.

On my television, it broadcasts beautifully. One complaint I have is when I play the PSP games on the TV, my PSP screen shrinks and a large part of my television is not being used. Those who have been using the TV for some time noted that the picture quality is HD, and that button inputs on the remote do not appear to lag.

I purchased this bundle hoping to save on a component capture cable for my PSP, but the cable I got was defective. When I used an HD capture card on my PC, the video was captured, but it was a constant color flicker that I believed was due to As soon as I tried to plug it into my TV, it could not even detect the signal. Furthermore, the plastic covers on the ends of the cable were easy to remove, which did not help instill great confidence in product There remains some doubt in my mind that the XFUNY cable is defective, though. I bought a Sony brand component cable for my purchase and it removed all doubt. I suppose some people are luckier than me and don't encounter problems,.

We gave them an additional five stars due to the fact that they were pleasantly surprised. If they had been used and in terrible shape, they would have been a disaster This product was a product branded by Sony, which could easily have been a one star rating instead.
