The first time I used the headset, it surprised me more than anything I could have expected. Firstly, let's look at the sheer amount of bass that was used. There was something about the sound quality (probably because of the bass) that I found absolutely stunning. Noise cancellation is insane, and to be honest, I find it a bit overwhelming. While I am used to yelling louder for dinner, my family does have to yell a little louder to tell me to come. The noise cancelling headset on the other hand is the best if you are looking for that! You are going into a portal each time you put them on, but for your ears! It's like the outside world stops existing for a minute and the world of your games comes to life on a whole other level. I feel like this could be improved, but in the end, I suggest that as the customer, you make sure to take the headset off either by turning it backwards so it falls behind you or by turning it forward so it falls in front of you. The fact that mine has lasted so long has been evidence that the separation of the ears from the head is a design flaw that cannot be overlooked.

When I first received the headset, the left speaker was pulsating with high pitch. I contacted the seller, which is Razer, for my return and they had me return Approximately an hour after using the device, the noise returned to its full level. The only thing I can think of is that it's a problem with only USB models, as I've never encountered anything like this. The problem cannot be with the USB port, as I've tried it on several different computers, even with different USB devices. Even with the volume turned up, any silence in music or gameplay will be accompanied by high pitched electronic sounds. I am not biased towards any particular brand, but I think that my $25 Turtle Beach headset from Walmart is better as it doesn't have a headache-inducing.

My experience with Razen's customer support was hilarious after purchasing the Razen Kraken USB headset in July 2018 for about 45 dollars. This headset had a good sound quality (and a decent mic), and was comfortable to wear. My old setup took a beating and it broke after two years, so I thought that it must have taken a beating due to its design. I recently purchased the Razen Kraken X USB which I bought in July 2020. Between the new one and the old one, there are the following differences As a result of the increase in price by about 33%, the new model's quality is a bit low as compared to the old one, as well as the construction quality deteriorating. Even though it was well cared for, it took only 5 months for the frame to start snapping at the ear cup. There is no doubt that the price of products went UP and they turned out to be of lower quality. In the meantime, I am waiting to hear from Razer Customer Support, but I have very low expectations based on what I have A brand new HyperX with an aluminum frame is also being shipped by Amazon.
