Questions & Answers

Do you think it is sufficiently different from ALTTP for me not to ?

The feeling of deja vu isn't unpleasant, but it will probably be noticeable. If you didn't buy this, then you'd be missing out on something amazing. Like I said when reviewing ALTTP, this one has so many awesome elements to it that I think any Zelda fan would be really missing out. The 3DS appealed to me more so because of Ocarina of Time, but A Link Between Worlds also enabled me to make the decision. It is a great game and really worth your time and money.

How old does the cutoff point need to be? A Zelda game would really be appreciated by my 5-year-old son. To me, it's just about making sure he can play the game on his own and enjoy it without having to watch his father play ?

Despite the fact that the question is years old, nobody brought up the fact that every Zelda game requires It might not be a good idea to read it with a child until they have mastered reading. It is not unusual for them to be 7 or 8 years old.

Have you played any other Zelda games before? Would you recommend this game to someone with no experience?

Without a doubt. Games in the Zelda series are stand-alone. If you don't want to play all of them, you can play any of them alone and have a great time.

What are the system requirements for this game?

You should stop asking this question over and over again on every product page since the 3DS games are all compatible with the 2DS.

Honestly, Nintendo, why were you so enticing me, so I would purchase the game? Since my son (he's almost six) has been SUCH a good boy (cough cough), my husband and I decided to buy him a Nintendo 3DS XL for Christmas this year
5/5

When I brought it home to close, I was feeling nostalgic - I couldn't help but think back to all the fond memories that I had sitting in front of my old grey couch watching this show. Despite my broken Gameboy, I neglected my home chores and homework while I played for extended periods of time. In an instant the memories of all those hours, days, and weeks I burned through after receiving the new Gameboy Color one year came flooding back! Those phone bills my parents got when I got the phone bill were so angry! Oh, I was so happy! It is impossible to say how many times I called the Nintendo Hotline. I already had it memorized and I had it at the top of my However, when it came to wasting my life away on games, Zelda was the one for which I was prepared to drop out of school. It was clear I needed help, as I had a drug addiction. Sadly, I lost my passion for games when I got to high school, and I began to belong to the boy crowd over the Gameboy crowd. As a result of digging up all those old feelings, I felt like spoiling myself a bit by buying The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker. In the end, I was able to form a link between worlds. As soon as I saw him, I thought, "He can't play while he's sleeping!". During the evening, I will sneak his DS into the bedroom and play with it for a few minutes! I like this idea a lot! I was wrong. I'm beginning to feel like I'm in my elementary & middle school classroom I've gone back to middle school Having played this game all night, I was up until 4am this morning. The scenario has remained the same since Christmas pretty much every night. I really want my own Nintendo 3DS he was just going to allow me to buy one since our son wakes up every morning with his battery drained and starts blaming his 8-year-old sister for the drain since her 3DS doesn't matter to her. There are growing concerns about the My God, but my God, but my God! There is no way I wouldn't love it! I scream with joy every time I turn it on because my inner 10-year-old just comes out. I remembered it being just the way I remembered it, but the features it has are even greater! Playing through the storyline and enjoying the graphics is a joy, and the color really catches your attention. Even though it took me a while to get used to the two screens, I've now got it pretty well down now thanks to all those early morning playing sessions. My next step should be to buy The Legend of Zelda after I finish this installment A Link to the Past and a Link to the Future Game of the Year "Legend of Zelda" I'm going to see the movie Majora's Mask so that I will not let my addiction spin What do I mean, go the whole hog? In total,

I can say without a doubt that this is a great As the game requires reading, I can't recommend it to children who don't yet possess a solid grasp of the language. If you're the type of person who can sit down and really focus, then this is the perfect game for you. As I did before, I want to thank Nintendo for resurfacing an addiction that I thought I had managed to control. During the next few weeks, I might stop showering, doing my hair or makeup, eating, grocery shopping, homeschooling the kids or using the toilet. I may update this review if I begin to grow a beard.

It's Not Enough to Give 5 Stars
5/5

From Start to Finish, it was an epic adventure. It is safe to say that I am not a gamer in any sense of the word. Since playing a video game from beginning to end is so rare for me, I can't even remember when I committed to playing one for the entire length. My first experience with A Link to the Past was at 12 years old, when I was given the game as a gift. I was immediately smitten with it and developed a true affection for the Zelda universe. I was excited to see that a direct sequel was being developed. Since the day Amazon left it on my doorstep, I've been addicted to this game. My 3DS isn't used all that often but I've been addicted to it. In spite of the fact that the game is its own thing, it possesses so much of A Link to the Past DNA that the nostalgia is worth the price of admission on its own. They're rubies, I guess. Despite the age range, I recommend this adventure for everyone. There are moments of deep beauty in this story, but also moments of involvement and commitment. While I did not use the 3D often, I did in some videos and some of the dungeons because they were simply entertaining and the 3D made the experience all the more thrilling. All things considered, I enjoyed this game very much. As long as it remains true to the original, it still retains its own unique character. I hope Nintendo doesn't keep us waiting for a sequel for another 20 years. Should they do so, I will be first in line at 53.

I think it is the best Zelda game I have ever played
5/5

The Legend of Zelda was my favorite Zelda game, until Breath of the Wild. I think this is the best game out there, and it does surpass Ocarina of Time [even the 3D version] or Wind Waker (yes, I know the horror!). As a handheld Zelda player, I've never had more fun playing this franchise than in this game. In terms of the core mechanic, merging into a 2d space to solve puzzles, it works really well, and it's used almost as far as it can without making the mechanic too trite (which is a problem with Zelda gimmicks). There is no denying that it draws inspiration from A Link to the Past for the map and the Light World/Dark World transitions, but it works better instead. The ability to switch between worlds at various cracks in the wall (rather than being forced to return to your one warp point) is more effective in my opinion. You probably will like this game if you liked Link to the Past. This Zelda game would be a better choice for those who like Zelda and are looking for a challenge, especially in Hero Mode. There's only one game that takes the cake Breath of the Wild. In spite of that, however, this game is well worth its price and its replayability is significantly higher than those of.

Zelda game on the 3DS that I enjoy most
5/5

I have fallen in love with The Legend of Zelda series thanks to this game. Having started playing Zelda games with the GBC entries, I now play them on my mobile devices - This was the only game I could beat - In the future, video games on the DS will be available. Then I played this game and I realized how little I know about them. Despite the fact that it is a sequel, this game is very beginner friendly, and it uses the Hyrule Castle as a canvas to introduce you to the general mythology of the series in an elegant way. You rescue the princess from an evil man and he puts you away by granting his wish, and there is a wish granting triangle thingy, an evil man kidnaps a princess and wants his wishes granted, and there is You who grant their wishes. There is a story that is familiar to many young and old, but then you're thrown into this game's version of it! There are a fair number of puzzles in the game and the game is fairly easy to understand. There is little restriction when it comes to how you beat the game, but if you buy all the items and upgrade them, it is somewhat like playing the game at an easy setting. I enjoy it all a great deal. It has been my favorite Zelda game for the 3DS since it's release. I've played it five times since it's release. Having read it, I was motivated to try Out of the Wardrobe and Medieval Magic, both of which I loved. Right now, I am playing Triforce Heroes alone, and out of those 4 Zelda games for the 3DS, I think A Link Between Worlds is the best. Don't believe me? Read this. You can judge it for yourself once you have a look.
