My husband even sat to the side and engaged in some light play with him. Except for drilling through the hard plastic, assembly wasn't difficult. No pre- holes that have been drilled br>To give you an idea of size, I photographed it next to a 250oz laundry detergent container. br>The instructions aren't great; they show a picture of a screw but don't say which one it is or where it goes. As a result, I drilled and used the one that connects the top to the legs by accident.
I have a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl who are both of normal/average size. I was initially concerned that the water table would be too low to the ground, causing my kids to hunch over or tear up their knees while playing. The children devised ingenious solutions to the problem. br>br>It was very simple to put together; one person could do it, but two people made it a breeze. It's well-made, and the materials don't appear to be low-cost or chemically scented. br>br>One reviewer complained that the rain drains too quickly from the top portion, but we didn't find this to be an issue. I can see how a toddler would want it to rain all the time if they were playing with it, because it's so cool: )br>br>We couldn't be happier with this water table, all things considered.
My children adore it, and they give it five stars. While putting it together, however, I was less than impressed. There are no predrilled holes, so you'll have to rely on your imagination. It also takes two people to put this thing together, which is fine if you have someone available at home to assist you (my husband farms and is rarely available when I need him). The parts are wiggly because I had to enlist the assistance of my 6-year-old son. It looks great after you've finished putting it together, but it was a difficult task for a 9-month-pregnant mother to complete.
This is a fantastic and entertaining water table with a variety of game options. For those who are curious about height requirements, your child must be able to reach 34" in order to pour water into the top. For reference, my daughter is 5 years old and 46 inches tall, and she adores this table! Even if your child isn't tall enough to play on the upper deck, there's plenty of room for them to play on the lower deck. This water table is large enough for four children to play at once. To add to the fun, go to the Dollar Store and purchase measuring cups, funnels, and scoopers.
This is a fantastic plaything for the outdoors. It was a breeze to assemble. Very sturdy, to the point where my 2-year-old granddaughter climbed in and used it as a mini pool. The strong legs didn't fold or collapse. She was squeezing into a small space, but she felt secure. The toys are more toddler-friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for. It's more than just a toy for babies. We want her to have a few years of enjoyment out of it.
There are a few design flaws in this that make it nearly unusable. Because the base does not have a slight slope towards the drain, it is extremely difficult to drain all of the water. There are no rubber grips on the legs or anything to keep it from sliding - As a result, even the tiniest touch causes it to slide everywhere - When a child or toddler leans on it, it slides across our driveway and onto our wood patio. This is not only inconvenient, but also potentially dangerous. Last but not least, the toys are poorly constructed - The frog and fish have tiny holes in them, so the water doesn't drain completely, and mold or mildew has already begun to grow inside; everything else appears to be cheap plastic. My child is no longer interested in playing with it, so I effectively paid for two days of entertainment. Seek out a higher-quality product.
Of all the water tables we looked at, this one has the most activities and parts. It "rains" from the top, pours down into spouts and moving parts, and comes with a toy frog flipper, a water wheel, cups, and buckets for pouring. There isn't a table that my child enjoys more than this one. I also like to fling the included toys and play with the chain reaction. br>I would strongly recommend this to any child who enjoys pouring, splashing, or playing with water in general - I had a great time!.
It is a big hit with my two-year-old son. So do my eight and ten-year-olds (when it comes to water fights).
