The device was easy to use, and he figured it out right away. His favorite part of it is that it makes noise when he bounces. I am not sure he could be any taller (40 inches), but as long as he is focused and not distracted he could be perfectly happy! This isn't a cheap item and comes in a small box and feels unsteady (the connectors are rather flimsy), but it is actually a good product.
