Having a pogo stick as a child was a lot of fun for me. When I started out with the foam sticks for the older kids, the older ones kept wanting to jump, so we finally bought some real ones after debating. As a matter of course, a helmet and protective gear are needed. As well as teaching them to jump off the platform if they think they will fall, I taught them how to end the lesson. It's a no-brainer Having bought this one for my 42-pound son, I was impressed by its quality. His weight is a bit too light for it, so he had to choose one that was rated up to 40 pounds, which fits him much better. It doesn't matter how much weight you have, this thing can jump your grandmother like a champ. She weighs 61 pounds. For girls and boys alike, it is wonderful.
