The main support beam on the wooden swing set I built is around 7' to the ground, but it has been a while since I purchased it. To make each chain low enough for a three-year-old to climb on, I had to add 12" extensions. Any building supply store will be able to cut the chain to the desired length and provide the necessary connecting links. You might not have the same issue I did because your main beam isn't as high or your chains are longer now, as short chains were a common complaint when I bought this item. The swing itself is in excellent condition and shows no signs of wear or deterioration despite having been exposed to the elements for over two years.

I had my eyes peeled for a while and was overjoyed when I came across this one, which had excellent reviews and was the cheapest. Because of our previous experience, I called Creative Playthings before ordering to inquire about a weight limit because I couldn't find one online; I was told 160 pounds (though I imagine this should be distributed throughout the swing, rather than all on one side/from one person). The glider was quick to arrive and simple to assemble. When we went to hang it on our swing set (the Kodiak from Swing N Slide), my kids were ecstatic. Only then did we realize the chains were about 2 feet too short; I could barely get on it without tiptoeing. I checked the product description again, and it stated that it was for a 7-foot swing bar. When I first bought it, I didn't give it much thought because I assumed (mistake) that most swing bars were the same size. I called Creative Playthings again, and the customer service representative was extremely helpful, offering to send chain extensions. Unfortunately, they charged me for them, so I saved $20 by purchasing this glider instead of the swing n slide glider, only to have to pay an additional $18 for chain extensions. The glider works great with the extensions, and my kids (ages 2 and 3) love it. 5 years old) adores it and can get on and off as well as swing on their own. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase, and it appears that it will last us a long time.

A hanging bracket is not mentioned in the description as a requirement for proper operation. Our swingset is made of round steel tubing and is commercial grade. There isn't a glider bracket to be found. When we tried to return an item, the cost was nearly equal to the cost of the item. The description is deceptive, and the seller expressly forbids the seller from including attachment photos.
Because it was purchased to replace an older model, the brackets were already in place, so it was assembled and ready to use in less than 5 minutes! Suitable for all of my children aged 6 and up. It is well-made. The only thing I had to do was lower the swing (each swing set is unique). I bought 16 quick links from Home Depot for my massive wooden one. Each chain will require four people. They quickly extended the chains to accommodate my swing set's requirements. If you have a standard-sized swing set, or if you have a smaller swing set. These quick links are unlikely to be required. This product comes highly recommended, and I am very pleased with it.
It's sturdy, comfortable, and most importantly, it's a fun ride; the only problem is that all three of us want to ride it at the same time because it's our swingset's most popular ride. They are required to take turns, but they are adamant about not getting off. I adore the smiles, and I think it'd be a fantastic addition to any backyard playset!.
This is an amazing swing. Unfortunately, on one of the pieces, the manufacturers failed to punch the holes for the bolt to pass through. When I contacted the seller, they immediately dispatched a replacement swing. It appears to be very sturdy, as my 125-pound son and his 3-year-old brother can swing on it.
This was purchased to replace a nylon rope that my children had, and it works perfectly. It was a breeze to set up - It took me about 15 minutes to complete by myself. A fantastic purchase!.
We needed a new glider after the previous one broke (due to my mowing into it, not the glider itself). This was excellent, and it was exactly like the original. Very well-made and simple to assemble. Would buy from them again! It was even less expensive here than on the CPT website.
