I think the 5 year old won't have a problem putting a puzzle together if he or she is good at assembling puzzles. It is for my granddaughter, who is now seven, and I purchased it for her a while ago. I am sure you will be pleased with the quality of Ravensburger puzzles if you have never purchased one before. Fitting the pieces together is very straightforward and they are very sturdy.
I'm not sure how many feet it is. The Grandson I bought this for over a year ago loves it. If I recall correctly, the window is about 1 1/2 feet by 9 inches.

Unlike any other puzzle, this one has that perfect combination of piece size/durability, color pattern and shape of each piece! Dexterity and her ability to see subtle differences in the shape of the puzzle are enhanced by this exercise. It is so common to find puzzles that have the same pieces. Her ability to put together puzzles upside down means that when pieces are exactly the same and the background does not have strong contrast, she can put them The only complaint I have is that she has all of the 300 piece XL puzzles so we need more!.
I love Ravensburger puzzles for their high quality. For my 93-year-old mother they are a great gift I play them with my mother when she visits, and they keep her occupied for hours. The pieces are thick, so it's easy to tell whether they fit together or not. I started with the 500 piece puzzles, but found that they were much too small for her to solve on her own. In addition to finding it difficult to identify where the smaller pieces fit into the larger pieces, she was also finding it difficult to handle them. The size she wears (adjusted to fit ages 8+) works perfectly for her. Her puzzle-solving skills are pretty good, so I can pretty much let her handle the puzzle by herself. Her favorite picture was the one of the sea turtles.
This is a very vibrant color. What a great puzzle this is. There is a challenge in doing a jigsaw puzzle, and that is why you do one. would love it if Ravensburger sent the poster with the picture, which I think would be wonderful.
Despite this, our child still found it a bit difficult to fit parts together that weren't quite right. Apart from that, it appears to be a good puzzle, and you can rest assured that our child will enjoy assembling it.
There are no better puzzles than those from Ravensburger! Quality and design are my favorite aspects of their products. My grandkids do not appreciate electronic gadgets, so I was looking for something to give them for Christmas that wasn't an electronic gadget. The kids wanted to put it together all day on Christmas day and my daughter said that they took the rest of the day! I'm so glad we're spending time with family!.
When we discovered that we were missing a piece, the puzzle was fun to put together. So, that's why I gave it a top rating, and I wouldn't venture with a second.
In 1 week, I had to replace 3 pieces found missing after I worked on it. I am 70 years old. It makes me so sad. Ravensberger puzzles have always been my favorite and this is the first time I've purchased one that isn't Ravensberger. As a social security beneficiary, I cannot even take it back! Thanks to Ohio's virus lockdown, I cannot even take it to return it.
It's nice to have the bigger pieces for fingers that aren't coordinated. Assembling the pieces is a breeze due to the colorful pieces and good pieces of construction.
