This says there is a recommended age of 3 here, but there is nothing there about that A 7 month old baby, and a 3 month old baby What's it been like for you?
I don't think it would be appropriate for such a We watched this with our grandkids ages 2,3,4 and they really enjoyed it. For me, the battery life was one of the biggest drawbacks.
When used with force, does this still work?
This is used a lot by my grandson, who is three years old. A screw that is not straight will cause the drill to click. If you press too hard, it will click even more. Practicing is a must, but you'll get the hang of it in no time.

Drill bits are superglued to the drill bit - Added an update
The toy is great. We got this for my 18 year old son who was obsessed with the tools Daddy used. Playing with this toy will help you develop your motor skills, problem-solving skills, and imagination. The problem is. A clear plastic drill bit that can be detached is available. That is such a horrible design choice. The card falls out all the time, especially when your kid is like mine and always carries it around. If you don't have it, the drill will be useless, and you'll be very frustrated. In this way, the toy becomes less interesting. You should superglue the drill bit to the drill before handing it over to your child if you buy this set. Fortunately, we lost the clear bit as well. In an attempt to buy a replacement drill bit from the company, they have not responded. I am extremely Despite the drill bit, I am not going to repurchase this set. It was something my son loved, so we will be finding something else to replace it with.

The game is great for enhancing motor skills as well as having fun! The following nbsp My daughter started playing with the drill set when she was almost 3 because it would help her develop her motor skills
Her older sisters also played with it in turn. She needed some assistance keeping the bolts straight on occasion, but most of the time she was able to do it on her own (and she is not yet three). My toddler was so proud of himself when he finished the drill and said "I did it!" The product is well made, sturdy and colorful. It can also be used by your young child to screw and unscrew if she/he wants to. Doing so still helps with motor skills development. I think it's the best gift idea ever- This is especially true for kids between 3 and 5 years old. They enjoyed playing with the drill as well, as did my 8 year old daughter. My overall impression is that I'm pleased with the toy, and I will definitely be giving it as a gift.

Children 4 to 9 years old, as well as 12 years old, have approved it
bought this for my 4-year-old who has been showing a lot of interest in tools, but could use some help with fine motor skills. In no time at all, as soon as the batteries were placed in the drill, he opened the package on his own. This is a simple toy with short, concise instructions that he plays with for hours. His 8 year old sister and 9 and 12 year old cousins can't help but hover and beg to drill in screws every so often. It was wonderful watching him pretend to use tools like his dad, and at the end, he was so proud of the patterns he created. He had a lot to say while he was playing, as he spent a lot of time figuring out patterns and holding screws in place and drilling upright. Counting, describing colors, and explaining step by step how to do it were a few things he did to his sister and cousins. Besides his own creations, he has even created his own! It is an excellent tool to reinforce learning through play. My favorite part of the carrying case is that it all fits together. As the organizer in the house, I love this accessory.

The red toy drill that was included did not The toy drill I bought two years ago is not functioning any more
My family lives in Mexico and I come to the states every month to pick up Amazon shipments. It wasn't until I bought a blue one that it turned out to work perfectly, so my son was still able to have a good time with it. Since it looks exactly like dad's drill, it would have been nice to have the red one working.

The toy only lasts for 15 minutes on a battery! I love this toy so much! The batteries, however, only last about 15 minutes if they are completely new

I did not think it would be easy for my 2 year old to hold
A 2 year old had a difficult time getting used to the drill, but once he were used to it, it was fine. The toy is very appealing to him. When the drill is in use, it makes a sound. While not obnoxious or loud, it is also not silent (I am theorizing that it is reasonable to expect a drill to be silent). Even though the drill has reverse functionality (though it should be possible to unscrew at the same time as screwing in), my kid doesn't have the fine motor skills necessary to unscrew them all by himself. An adult has to help him once he screws everything This is great for a kid who is interested in tools or wants to help his/her parents when they are using These are items I would buy.

You are self-sufficient There are both storage and open spaces an excellent drill starter toy for young hands and is great to develop hand-eye coordination, patterning skills, fine motor skills, I was even able to screw in bolts with my hands when I was a toddler, since the drill fits well in all little hands and the forward and reverse switches are intuitive
With the book, kids can make anything they imagine! It comes with several fun patterns they can follow, but as they can make whatever they imagine! My favorite aspect of the bucket is the closed play pattern, as well as the fact that I can store everything inside. There's no doubt that it'll work out There are too many toys to bring on vacation. You'll want to keep it on hand for your spring break and as a gift for Easter!.

It is useless to use a screw that has been ripped
The situation I'm in makes me very frustrated. It is strange that the drill's battery compartment screw was already stripped when it arrived, am I right? After I opened it with a pocket knife to put batteries in, I found it impossible to screw closed again because the way the batteries are inserted, the spring is pushing against the little door, meaning that even with duct tape the door pushed open, and no working screw held it shut. It is useless. It just so happened that I bought this kit and another for my twins at the same time, and now I have a crying kid with only one drill working. Upon my return, I will update you.
