That is an excellent question. I checked our set and it didn't say, so I did some Googling and found this response from the company to another customer who emailed them with a question about one of their products: br>By the way, I contacted Learning Resources about the safety of their plastic, and they responded with this. "We take safety very seriously, and all of our products meet or exceed safety standards," says the company. I'm writing to reassure you that all of our products comply with Learning Resources' stringent toy safety requirements. They're made of PVC and low-density polyethylene and don't contain any phthalates or lead. They're made of PVC plastic and don't contain any BPA. br>Security is important to us, so all of our children's products and toys are tested against the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) standards. This includes checking for phthalates (a plasticizer used to make plastic soft), lead in paint, and lead in the substrate, as well as adhering to ASTM F-2000 testing guidelines. 963 "br>I hope this has been of assistance!

This is the best quality dish set I could find for my grandchildren, and it's made of heavy plastic. Learning Resources produces a wide range of products, and I believe you would be pleased with any of them. When I'm looking for pretend kitchen dishes and food, I go to them first. I'm afraid I won't be able to put the silverware to the test for you, but Learning Resources is the best there is.

I've decided to buy the munch it! All of these products, including the set, the market set, the 106-piece food set, and this dish set, are incredible! My two-and-a-half-year-old loves to chew on her toys, and these products stand up to the abuse. They're very sturdy and a good size; I adore learning resources and am so glad I discovered them! br>br>PS: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "cre I've placed them next to a regular size bottle of Johnson's Baby Lotion to compare height and width for those who enjoy pictures as much as I do.
Learning Resources consistently produces high-quality materials. All of the items are well-made and can withstand a lot of use and drops. Although none of the utensils are particularly sharp, I try to avoid running with them just in case. We don't have any other play plates or utensils, but we've seen some that are significantly less expensive. These work just as well, so I think they're nice if you can get a good deal on them, but you can get the same thing for less money elsewhere. Learning Resources food sets are fantastic, and for the price, I should have purchased another.
They're large enough for children to "fix a plate of food," rather than just putting one small item on a plate like other play dishes. These items are extremely large, which I appreciate. They'll last a lifetime!.
Except for the size of the pieces, I liked this set; it would be better if they were a little smaller. The plates, in particular, They're too big for our pretend kitchen.
This set is extremely long-lasting! It's been with us for a few years now. It has survived three rambunctious boys and still looks brand new for their younger sister. We absolutely adore it! This is unquestionably a fantastic present idea.
Excellent craftsmanship. Exceptional craftsmanship. This company has provided us with a number of items, and we will most likely continue to do so. They're ideal for use at home or in the community center.
I run a small daycare and have a preschooler of my own, and these dishes are a hit with the kids. They're used every day, and they're still in great shape after nearly a year. There is no scratching or rubbing off of the paint. My kids like to put the silverware in their mouths now and then, but they've stood up to it and still look brand new. I simply toss them in the dishwasher when they become dirty.
My girls love a set of learning resources play food, so we got these to go with it. It is used by toddlers on a daily basis. High-quality and long-lasting. However, depending on how much you pay for them (price on Amazon seems to vary a bit), I believe they're making a lot of money.
