As a result of speech therapy, he started asking to eat eggs and ketchup all the time. This was an ideal gift for him since it had just what he needed. Due to the amount of time he has been playing with it, he's now able to name every item. I only needed a few days to complete it. I find it to be very sturdy, durable, and strong. The toddler kitchen I received was in pretty rough shape, but my toddler was still tickled pink, so she didn't care at all. I had to go out searching for some play food that would go inside! These are great for the price, and I like how much food she gets the sense that she has quite a variety, without having to worry about pieces of food drying to the ground or falling over anywhere in the house. I've found a happy medium perfect size for toddlers. So I guess that was a good thing. Also, the pan actually fit perfectly on the little burner!
What she really loves is pretending to sprinkle ketchup and mustard on her food. Besides the pan and the spatula to stir, the ketchup and mustard were a huge hit. Regardless of the food in the pan, she was not particularly interested in it. The dirt and rocks could have been all there was. However, she was very particular about her ketchup and mustard. There would only be one or two spice shakers left to add. This is something that she is going to have a lot of fun with The act of adding pepper to food at a restaurant is one of her favorite pastimes.

Even though my grandson enjoyed the eggs, spatula and fry pan, the hot dogs and buns were quite small and I was only given one hot dog and two buns. I therefore discarded those and donated the ketchup and mustard containers along with other toys. Using the chicken leg on the grill was his choice. there was one missing food piece, and I feel the food could be a bit more sturdy, but my grandson loved the fry pan and egg set and I was very pleased.

This set is great for pretend play, especially for a 2 year old! In addition to eggs, french fries, hamburgers, chicken, ketchup bottles, mustard bottles, AND a spatula, there are also parts to make hamburgers. There's no need to reassemble any of the pieces after cooking, because they fit right into the frying pan. Play kitchens might be out of reach at times, so Legos make a great introduction to pretend play.

I'm not sure what this black substance was on the spatula, but it's disgusting and wipes off with a paper towel. . . I was going to wash it, but decided to throw it in the trash instead we will keep the rest. It is strange that this kind of thing would be on something newly purchased, but it could have been. Just to be safe, I plan to wash the rest of my stuff as well.

To give my son, I got him this Kitchen food set. Having recently purchased a big play kitchen for him, it was only natural that I would buy him play food as well! There is nothing special about this set of food, but it is decent. It's apparent that the food is a smaller representation of the food they are portraying, but to me that's better than nothing. Several of the lower reviews knock this purchase because of its size, but it is for kids, so I do not see an issue with it. My experience was the same as others who have reviewed it. I did not notice any weird strong odors, like some others have written. Despite the fact that the handle to the pan is extremely thin and cracked almost immediately after opening, my son has thoroughly enjoyed cooking with them so far!.

There is no match between the burgers, but the quality is decent. I really like that frying pan. The quality and/or matched food of some people have been criticized. As long as all of the pieces arrived intact, I think it deserves 5 stars for the $8 I paid. I would buy it again.

The kids enjoy playing with this set because it is very cute and small. It is, of course, true that you become the boss if you own the burger flipper. My only complaint is that I thought chubby items were not as far away as they should have been. As a result, I removed them from the set and the children didn't know what was going on. This simple little item is something you may pass by every day, but my niece and nephew play with it all the time. The purchase was a good decision for me. The toys I like are the ones that encourage imaginative play in children.
