Hi H. Gibson - We understand your concerns, and we can assure you that this item is made of PVC. The set is also free of BPA and lead. I hope that this has answered your question. Thank you for getting in touch!
Zulema, I'm writing to say hello. I don't know how big your Ikea kitchen is, but I can tell you how big the biggest pot is. This should assist you in determining whether or not the set will work in your kitchen. 5 1/2" L x 4"H is the largest pot in the set. I hope you find this information useful. Thanks!
The frying pan might work, but these are a bit too big. They might be able to do it with some wrangling. We have the Step 2 rise and shine kitchen (or whatever you want to call the pink one with the cupcakes and the pet station underneath it? ), and the burners are too close together to comfortably fit these.

The colors are vibrant and lovely, and the set is beautifully constructed. The play food is fantastic, and it's the perfect size for each of their sets.
I got these after a lot of thought and deliberation. There are so many options on the market that I didn't want to buy something I'd regret later. This is an excellent collection. For my 17-month-old twins, I purchased it. This is their very first cooking set. From the moment they saw it, they were enthralled. It's bright and spacious enough to hold the learning resources and food I received in the dinner and breakfast baskets. The saucepan, as well as the pot and lid, are excellent. The colander is a true work of art. Although the toys are made of plastic, they are quite durable and do not have a cheap, flimsy appearance. The product is of good quality. My only wish is for the kitchen cutlery to be a little larger. However, this was an excellent purchase in general. If necessary, I will purchase it again.
This set appealed to me first and foremost because it was not a massive 20-piece set. My two-year-old son enjoys pretending to cook, but he doesn't require three pans, two pots, or any other kitchen equipment to do so. I was very pleased with the set when it arrived. Yes, the pan's handle is short, but it's ideal for small hands. The pot is also deep enough to hold a substantial amount of food while still allowing the lid to be closed. The pot and pan's green bottoms have a slightly rubberized texture to help them grip the surface they're on, which I thought was a nice touch.
For my 2-year-old daughter, this is pretty much the only play cookware we have. year old. It's a one-stop shop for all your needs. It's something she really enjoys. She uses it on its own as well as in her Ikea Duktig play kitchen (on which this pot and pan fits perfectly). We thought the price was reasonable, and we're pleased with the results. br>We also have some play food and a few other items from the same company, Learning Resources, and I'm impressed with the quality and durability of everything I've received from them.
Although it appears to be very durable, the edge of a hole in a pan is extremely sharp. I had to sand it down with sand paper because it was extremely sharp. I'm not sure if mine was broken or overly sharp. However, I felt that giving it to my DD without sanding it would be extremely dangerous. I believe I will contact their customer service department and inform them that it is not suitable for children.
It's a BLAST to use educational resources! NO TOYS, in my opinion, can compete with any Learning Resource brand! They're tough, safe, and incredibly realistic! I purchase on behalf of my grandchildren! In no way have we ever been let down! ALL THE TIME, I RECOMMEND TO OTHERS! I'll keep shopping and buying toys as long as I can! It was well worth the money!.
We also purchased a play kitchen for him, which was a welcome addition. The toys appear to be durable and cleanable.
This is a fantastically bright gift. When my granddaughter, who was one year old at the time, opened it, she flipped. The spoon and fork are the only "drawbacks. " My granddaughter is too young to carry them around. We simply kept them hidden from her until she grew up. That is something you should think about before making a purchase. My three-year-old granddaughter, by the way, wants a set exactly like it.
