Selected User Reviews For Thomas & Friends Fisher-Price Wood, Caitlin
Thomas has been amassing in our family for quite some time. For a long time, friends have been building wooden trains. In the year 2007, my first child began our collection. "Thomas" was the name of the company back then. Friend Wooden Railway" is a song by Friend Wooden Railway. "Thomas" is the name of the new brand. "Wood of Friends. " Fisher Price produces both, but the new brand is of much lower quality. Despite the fact that they are both made of wood, the newer trains are boxier, smaller, and all about the same size. br>br>Fortunately, my child hasn't noticed yet, but I have! Shame on you, Fisher Price, for painting blocks of wood, slapping wheels on them, and calling them trains. The mighty dollar and profit margins are to blame for the Thomas' demise. It's a disgrace to the Friends brand! Bring back the high-quality locomotives of the 2000s! Caitlin is the perfect shade of blue - burgundy, but that's all there is to it!.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the design. The fact that the engines came in a variety of sizes and features added to the fun and cool factor. br>br>She is now the same size as Thomas, and they are all the same size. Boring. My three-year-old immediately noticed a difference. He also observed that Thomas and others were missing the second stack, which had been reduced to a painted-on circle. He was quite irritated. br>br>Fisher Price, please make them the way they used to be, allowing these engines to have their own personality, their own look, and including the details that previous manufacturers have included. For example, Ashima is so attractive that the videos, prints, and even the metal die cast have more detail, allowing her and the other characters to stand out rather than blending in.
My three-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter and one-and-a-half-year-old grandson love playing with this engine, and when the package arrived, they immediately recognized who it was and were eager to add it to the others. It was a wise decision.
This is a fantastic addition to any Thomas the Train fan's collection. Construction is excellent.
On a colorful blister pack card, the train engine arrived quickly.
Looks fantastic, and I really like the wooden character. It moves around easily on our train table.
This is a fantastic toy. It would be nice if it were as long as the Connor we have.
