My other grandsons also received one for their 4th birthdays and it is still functioning. I purchased this for my grandson's 4th birthday having bought one for one of their birthdays three years ago. I really like the way it's made, it's great Easy to use even for a child as young as one, it is robust enough to handle the most energetic children. I highly recommend the latest version of this software, as it has many new features that are a lot of fun to use just by changing the background and producing hilarious photos. I only have one gripe, which is that it uses batteries. Why on earth do they not manufacture one that can be recharged. Parents are less likely to waste time hunting down batteries when this method is available.

The camera does a good job taking pictures for my nephew, who is 3 years old. Despite the fact that the color is so different from the picture in the advertisement, I gave 4 stars. While it appears to be blue and red on Amazon, it is actually more of a pinkish salmon red in person. It is important to keep in mind that you will not receive the advertised color when you order.
