The dolls are quite large. It's possible that they'll fit into preemie clothes. You might be able to get away with using newborn clothes, but the newborn clothes would be too big for the dolls.
If you recall what color the outfit that came with it was. If the doll isn't dressed, it's impossible to tell what gender it is.

The eyes are a lovely golden brown color with lashes. They do, in fact, open and shut.

They WILL fit in a 7 quart shoe box, so that was the solution to my problem. The expressions are adorable. looking. The pacifiers will fit in the dolls' mouths (except on some dolls, such as those from Costco). The eyes have a good amount of realism to them. Now that I've written that, I have a few reservations. Even though the doll is nearly upright, the eyes on the pink one I received do not seem to want to stay open. As a result, "she" appears to have a lazy eyelid from time to time. When the eyes open and close, I hear a "click. " Those are quality control issues in my opinion. br>Overall, I think the Walmart brand dolls are a better value because they are lighter in tone and smaller. These will have to suffice for the time being because those are difficult to come by this year. br>Another point to consider: I've discovered that not all 15" dolls are the same size; for example, the "medium" skin tone dolls are noticeably smaller than the Caucasian dolls. Clothes made for a 15" doll fit the various "skin tones" differently as a result of this.
These are a big hit with my daughter. Since reading the review that said you couldn't tell the dolls apart once they were undressed, I've been trying to figure out which was which, but it really doesn't matter. Their bodies are soft and huggable, and the eyes open and close as you lay the doll down or lift it up, so it's fine if my daughter dresses them both as girls or boys. br>br>These twins come highly recommended. It's adorable and fits 14-inch tall people. My daughter already had doll clothes for 16" dolls.
It's cute, but I wish you could tell the dolls apart without their clothes on, as you can with the white twins. The hairstyles, fingers, and toes of the dolls are identical.
Melissa and Doug toys are well-known for their high quality, but these babies blew me away. These babies will be well loved by me, as I run an in-home school. The kids love our two cough cough dolls (Bitty Babies and a few Cabbage Patch Dolls), but I honestly believe these M D babies will be able to withstand the test of time. They're sturdy, with a thick, wipeable fabric body that's still soft. Pacifiers and clothing with Velcro on the front work well. I will definitely recommend in the future because the baby hats are attached to the outfit so they don't get lost!.
These appeal to me, and my child enjoys pointing to the various body parts. These dolls have what I consider to be a normal face, which I find appealing. There isn't a mouth that is wide open and round. I understand that children are unconcerned about such matters and rely on their imagination. Because the first set I received had an issue with the eye, I returned them and ordered a new set. I also appreciate that they have brown eyes, as opposed to the blue eyes that I see on so many dolls. I also like how they have a variety of face shapes and skin tones. br>br>I received my replacement, which has slightly crossed eyes. I'm aware that I'm a snob.
They were purchased to be shared by my grandchildren. The way the eyes open and close is particularly appealing to me. Dolls have a soft body. The dolls' clothing is removable, and they appear to be durable enough to be washed on a gentle cycle. My purchase has made me extremely happy.
Melissa and Doug are a match made in heaven. One for each granddaughter, we purchased a set of light and dark skin twins. They are adored by the girls. They're adorable and cuddly. Like all Melissa and Doug toys, it's full-bodied but tough. Playing for hours is a great way to pass the time. This summer, two sets of twins will accompany us on our travels.
I wish I'd remembered to take pictures before returning them. The entire front half of the box for the first set of dolls had clear water damage, particularly in the section that held the dolls in place. There was a crumb on the girl doll. When she shook the box, it shook a lot, as if it was full of debris. When the box was shook upside down, cat food bits were visible inside the packaging behind the dolls and fell out. They were supposed to be a gift, so I was extremely disappointed. br>br>The replacement dolls arrived in excellent condition. The box appears to be in good condition, and both dolls appear to be in good condition as well. Replacement was quick, and the gift was delivered on time. The dolls are beautiful, and I'm sure my daughter will adore them. br>br>Perhaps the warehouse should conduct a little more quality control and ensure that the soft body dolls do not get wet. This could lead to mold growth in the box, especially if other items (such as dry cat food) find their way in.
