This set is a hit with my one-year-old son. The set has such a wide range of instruments, from simple ones like the maracas to more complex ones like the xylophone, that I expect him to enjoy it for many years. I'd say 6 months to a year. 3 years is a reasonable estimate.

This is the third time I've bought it as a gift for children ranging in age from one to ten. 3 and it's a huge hit every time! There are so many options for the kids to choose from, and everything is kept organized in a cute little bag! Also, the price is excellent, and the quality is excellent!.
The backpack serves as an excellent instrument case. It's entertaining to play all of the various percussion instruments. The following are my main concerns: br>br> ) There is no tuning on the xylophone. I bought this set specifically to teach my daughter about music, but having an untuned xylophone defeats the purpose. ) The moracas are deafeningly quiet, as if they aren't nearly as full as they appear to be. Parents will love it! For rhythm and movement activities, this is not a good choice. ) The triangle's plastic piece is simple to remove and lose. I'm going to use string or ribbon to replace it. br>br>I like the set in general. However, I would not advise others to buy it. Purchase one that includes a xylophone that can be played.
This is an incredible set! br>I was pleasantly surprised by the instrument quality. br>On the instrument, my son was accompanied by a friend. All of the tools were simple to use for them. The majority of the dishes are made of wood that appears to be of excellent quality. br>In addition, the bag is very practical - It is simple to use all of the tools. br>What a wonderful present!.
My 14-month-old twins are completely enamored with their new music collection. My son has always been fascinated by musical instruments, but this kit is particularly impressive because it includes a variety of instruments that aid in the development of various fine motor skills while also being a lot of fun. AND it's all contained in this adorable mini backpack - As a result, there will be no confusion: )br>Wonderful item!.
This kit is a big hit with my daughter. She uses it as a backpack and enjoys playing with it all the time. After a month, nothing has broken or appears to be damaged. My daughter, who weighs 30 pounds, has stood on the drum without causing any damage. The instruments aren't too loud, either, so it's safe for parents to listen to.
This item appeals to me for a variety of reasons. There are some decibels from back in the day. Traveling with it is simple. Allows the parent or music teacher to observe what the child prefers by allowing the child to choose their instrument. Encourages parents to participate in music time and allows multiple people to participate in the creation of music.
For a toddler toy, the quality is excellent, and each instrument has a rich, full sound. My 7-year-old son and 15-month-old daughter have spent almost all of their time playing. Stop playing all of these instruments at the same time.
I've included some images for you to look at. On one of the toys' handles, there's a white smudge of something caked on it. There's wood glue on the handle of another's tool, and some of the glue globs are sharp. In addition, the xylophone isn't working. The sound that does come out isn't a full step scale like that of other xylophones. It simply muffles clunky noises and randomizes them. Finally, and most importantly, the pieces have not been properly sanded, resulting in splinters. The instruments are a good size for me. The colors of the paint are appealing.
