I suppose it is filled with beads of silica. We found out less than one week after we got them when this yellow one rolled off the play room table and cracked open, sprinkling silica beads everywhere. It varies from person to person how full they are. It has a nice paint quality, but the seams aren't reinforced in the slightest. Would silica beads be an option as well? No way to keep a baby or toddler safe in a nursery or playroom.

Because of some negative reviews I read, I almost didn't buy them, but it's a good thing I did. I am celebrating Easter with my daughter, who turned 9 months old today. This has completely captivated her she simply adores them The yellow one is particularly eye-catching. It seems she has been crawling past all her other toys for these all day. There is no damage to any of the pieces, and their painting and seams are clean as described. The toys will not be left unattended because clearly they COULD break open, but I believe they will hold up as well as any hollow wooden object can. My daughter, who is sitting on my lap as I type, is banging two of them together, and there is no paint The one customer who said these aren't quality musical instruments is actually true, because I read a review from a satisfied customer who said this. As far as sound is concerned, they are more similar to a baby rattle than a genuine I have to say, however, that as a music teacher- The moment you see something with a ladybug on it and expect it to sound like something you're going to hear in a professional musical ensemble, you're really doing yourself a disservice. These would be a big hit with my elementary students If I had to choose something for a classroom, I would pick a plastic item I could sanitize. About half of them also have a slick finish, which feels like oil. It was the ladybug that won the hearts of my goddaughter, as she thought they were great without faces.

There is a reason for the 3 stars, since the product should be rated for babies under 1 year old. It was picked up a couple times by my toddler, but he is not interested in it. There is no variation in the sound made by any of the eggs. Also, I think that they should be packed in smaller boxes. He does not want 6 eggs, so I can deal with two, but six eggs is too many for him.

Their faces are so It's not a musical instrument, but a rattle that's meant to soothe a baby. In other words, they would make a great gift for a BABY. The problem is that they are not suitable for toddlers and young children to use as real instruments.

For Easter basket, I bought them for my daughter. My daughter enjoyed shaking these headphones when music is already playing, and I agree with other reviewers that these don't make a lot of noise. I think they are an ideal size for her toddler hands, and I love the way they look. It is important to be careful when cleaning or disinfecting your clothes since certain products, such as Clorox wipes, will remove the color.

I thought that this would make a perfect stocking stuffer for my daughter because I know she loves shakers in music group. Although the painted designs are charming, the shakers don't produce much sound. It's like they have only fifteen grains of rice instead of fifty. The fact that Kendall likes them still disappointed me, but I still like to shake.

Egg-shaped and painted with vibrant colors, they look like miniature Easter eggs. It was all unique, I didn't get any It's love at first sight for my toddler. In fact, I purchased them to put in his easter basket, but these would also make great.
