An 8 inch square box fits inside a globe measuring 13 inches wide x 9 inches tall. There is false advertising here, according to me. Considering that this is a 50 dollar purchase, I expected the globe to be 13 inches.

Great product and exact what I was looking for. I also appreciate the fact that it lights up. Because of this, the only reason I took away 1 star is because it only came with the USB cable to plug into the wall, and it did not come with the actual plug (the adapter). In order to plug in my old iPhone, I have to use one of my old USB blocks.

This illuminated globe was given to our granddaughter as a gift. (10?
