Questions & Answers

How many batteries are there? In that case, do they appear to be safe Do teething babies have any problems with it?

Batteries are included in the package. There is no way a child can access the screwed on cover to determine what kind of nuts they are, but each one is secured from exposure. The following things You need to run your I bought my granddaughter this phone because it is durable, and she enjoys it very much. She has two of them, as they are great travel toys (not too loud, not too big), and not a strain on luggage. As well as having many other uses, she loves it. It's a great tool for teaching counting. Their popularity has grown to such an extent that she Our hearts are in love with

This sounds like it would be a fun activity to do with a 1-year-old Are you older than a year?

In my opinion, it is not suitable. It is designed for children 18 months and older, yet my 20 month old did not appear to be interested in it. In order to make it educational for you, I would recommend passing.

Does this have raised buttons (which would make it easy to touch for my son who is blind) or flat buttons?

I will describe the shape as almost flat, but the key point has a slight concavity, so if your child is 18 months old, one can operate, but my child is now 10 months, and she can not correctly press Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Does it have a water-resistant coating? What if my baby chews on it and it still works?

In fact, yes.

My time was spent on researching toy phones more than studying for my In my quest for a toy for my 8 month old to use to satisfy his constant urge to grab my cellphone and remote control, I did a lot more research than I could have possibly done
5/5

The product is in the usual LeapFrog class, and the company has again delivered. TYPE

CONSTRUCTION A solid foundation. In all honesty, I thought that it was too fat at first because it looked like a really thick cellphone. However, it was actually easier for him Additionally, I liked how this design seemed the most enticing Here's the evidence. In addition to the holes for the speaker, which are recessed anyway, all of the seams are pretty tight, leaving very little room for a child to stuff food in them. Honestly I don't know what to make of the weight. It's not heavy, but feels solid in your hand, enough to make it The screen reads The LCD display on this device is actually green backlit. the kind of display you find on cellphones, but rather the old-fashioned kind I belong to a dot-com school It is expressed as a matrix. No complaints have been made by the 8 month old. Using the puppy (Scout), you will see the number for each button when you click on it. In the next two seconds, Scout will speak the number, the screen will display the number, and the screen will display two dog biscuits In the same way, the other buttons work as well. He will interact visually when an action is triggered, such as waving, singing, and dancing. Some of the phones I saw did not have actual screens, but just translucent plastic covers with buttons printed on them. There was a 'button' which you could press, and a light would go on and light up the area where the button was. This is kind of lame, in my opinion. The sound is There's a lot of great sound on this. There is no annoying amount of noise! Even with TV or other background noise playing, the high setting is barely audible from across the room. The low setting is barely audible from across the room. You can switch it off quietly and it will turn When you turn off a toy, it makes more noise! (I cannot tell you how annoying it is. It was apparent from the getting started screen that it will connect to the In the beginning I was just going to use the remote alone, but then I found out Scout was a Christmas present from my grandparents! Having yet to set it up, I have not had a chance to test it. The phone button is supposed to contact Scout and interact with him when you press it. It probably would be neat for toddlers and babies older than that.

It was great to get a toy phone for such a great price
5/5

Usually, you have to pay a lot more for those types of phones. This toy phone was a real treat for me. Normally when you find a phone in this price range, it does nothing, but this phone gives you the ability to talk to your child through its lighting, music, and voice. You can press different buttons depending on what you want to do. In addition to the text, the screen will display graphics. There are very few details on them, and they resemble images on old-fashioned postcards My kids enjoyed it even though it was on their school computers. She was thrilled to receive it for Valentine's Day, as this gift was for my 1 year old. In an effort to keep my 3 year old from taking my phone, I got it for Mommy and Daddy. I was surprised when she loved it as well. One of ours was sold so we bought another. I love this toy and the price is awesome.

It's a great phone for babies over the age of one
5/5

The teething period is not the best time for babies. There are a lot of great features on this phone. My favorite part is the music. Baby teething should not be done with this. According to the manufacturer, this phone is only for those 18 and older. I definitely need to check out the pic better since I didn't look at it more carefully. My 9 month old teething baby almost destroyed the screen within minutes of having it in his hands. Plastic screens on this device can easily be dented by new sharp teeth because they have a very thin coating. I would estimate that it is under an inch thick and has some weight to it as well. It will be so nice to give it back to him when it is There are cool dog graphics and it helps them count with visuals and learn how to answer a phone in a proper manner.

It then doesn't swipe the phone anymore and has become my favorite toy
5/5

As I gave this to my two and a half year old daughter for Christmas, she began using anything and everything as a phone. It was the only present she wanted to open, so she didn't want to open any other gift. In addition to the volume settings, there are two settings for the mute. It is perfect for the adults in the room because the low one is not too loud. As for the electronic features, I haven't been given a chance to test them out because she doesn't let me hold it for long enough.

The toy is completely indestructible and great for kids! I loved it! It's the perfect size for my 6m old
5/5

This is something she plays with every day (and still does) from the age of 6 months to a year. I have Violet (the interactive dog from LeapFrog), and I think that this matches really well with it. There is a tone for each number, followed by the corresponding number of something (bees, shoes, eggs, etc. ) on screen with a little animation to go along with it. As well as ringing like a phone, your child will be able to answer it. Probably the best part of it all. No matter what you put it through, it will never break! It has been dropped endless times from 5 feet up (with me holding on) onto hardwood floors, smears in applesauce, chewed on, etc. It may stop the sequence it is playing now, but continues to tick when you press another button. Is it because adult phones cannot be made as well as this?.

Little ones will love it, and it's a must-have! I wish I had one of these as a child! It's also a hit with the young ones
5/5

A bought one for my little girl (around the age of a year). Now that she's 7, she still enjoys playing with it (she rarely plays with it anymore, but if she finds it digging through her toys, she always stops and plays with it for a while. ) But she had fun playing with it on an occasional basis for years. Children must be supervised until they are at least 4 years old. It's great. I gift it to my niece, who turned one this year, and she loves it! It is nice that they have upgraded my daughter's technology since I bought hers (the light up screen, pink coloring, etc. It would be better if it had a I think this is really cute. My opinion is that this is a must-have for little ones!.

Leap Frog counting phone was the first and only counting phone my friends had when they were babies
5/5

It is not broken, and my baby has still been playing with it almost every day even after three months. Quite a few of her older toddler friends come over and play with it, and engage more clearly with it with their singing and counting. As for the phone itself, it is heavy for young baby (my baby kept dropping hers at 7 months, but now she can carry it firmly at 10 months), the screen is black and gray (would be more fun to have a colorful screen), and there is only one sound setting. There is a clearer and easier way to hear when it is louder. Toys such as this are very portable, and I can just throw them in my diaper bag as I go. Our family felt it was a great purchase all around.
