I'd suggest going with the Large size. My child is nine months old and weighs 19 pounds. He fits perfectly in it, with plenty of room to grow. It also helps that it has straps that can be adjusted to make it smaller or larger.
No, a large is not an excessively large size.
Our baby pool float comes with a pump, so it's ready to use right away. br>Thank you very much for your help.br>LAYCOL
Thank you for contacting us, and please keep in mind the following:
1. Although the baby swim ring is not life-saving equipment, it must be worn by a guardian.
2. When using, remember to keep an eye on your children. When using the float, we recommend that you do not push it because this could put your security at risk.
3. Please keep inflation saturation at around 80 percent to avoid excessive expansion. 90%.
4. Because the canopy is made of galvanized iron, it is important to keep it dry after each use to ensure that it lasts as long as possible. LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL LAYCOL

With this device, my 5-month-old son was turned upside down in the pool; fortunately, my husband was nearby. We blew it up the right way! I had my Type A engineer father, who reads directions meticulously, double-check that it was also blown up correctly. Unbelievably dangerous! My son was completely submerged after just one head movement.
We didn't use it because the pump broke seconds after we used it, but inflating it was simple.
The second time I used it, I turned around in the pool to grab my almost 9-month-old's ball, turned back around to see her upside down in the water, held under by this floating device! I pulled her up just in time, and she was terrified and crying. This flotation device is extremely dangerous, and given how easily it can flip upside down, I'm sure this company will face legal action soon. Especially since the extra cushioning is supposed to keep it from tipping over. Please read the reviews before purchasing a SAFE flotation device for your children. It was possible that my story would end in tragedy.
It is a huge hit with my 6-month-old son. It is completely safe and secure. There's plenty of room for my baby. And it protects you from the sun! Overall, 5 out of 5 stars:.
A friend of ours had this fantastic float and generously loaned it to us. We immediately went out and ordered one for ourselves because our baby adored it! This float is far superior to all others!.
I cannot express how much I admire this float. I have three-month-old twin girls, and I need something that will give me some peace of mind while trying to keep an eye on two babies in the pool! This float is something I use in both the pool and the bathtub. I can turn my head for two seconds and be confident that my babies are completely safe and secure in these floats. They enjoy it because they don't get water in their ears. It's the perfect shade for them! I would strongly advise anyone to purchase these. I think they'll enjoy lying on their stomachs once they're a little older!.
Because my son enjoys bath time and the one time he visited a pool (thanks to quarantine), I purchased this for him to try out. I've included photos and a video of him trying out the float for the first time. There was no fuss or resistance in the least. We left the float at Grandpa's because he has a pool and a big tub, and I'm thinking about getting another for my own home. br>br>I like how the float is in the shape of a boppy. My son figured out how to propel himself by pushing off the tub sides and using his legs. We recently purchased an exersaucer, and half of the time he sits in it with his legs behind him, as if he's swimming. br>br>I'm not sure I'd trust any of the "security features" if they weren't just for show. I've got a hand on the float and another ready to scoop up the baby at any moment, so I'm in the water with him whether he's in the pool or the tub. br>br>In terms of sizing, I believe that this float in size small is more appropriate for smaller babies than an infant life jacket. (THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED IN PLACE OF A LIFE JACKET! ) Because my son was born prematurely, he was about the size of a two-month-old when I ordered this at four months - 22 in. , 12 lbs. When we held him, however, he already had excellent head control and was straining to do "sit ups. " As a result, I expected him to be ready for the float by the time we went to see Grandpa. The shoulder straps needed to be tightened a lot, but the float was overall adjustable enough to "fit" my little guy.
