Most of the 'leaves' (bottom to top) on each tree were medium green and looked nice, but the top 5% on each tree are a flat green - These leaves have lighter green and appear as if they are bleached by It is likely that this is what they were trying for, but rather than have rounded tree tops, they all had flattened tops and lighter green foliage. It appears to be strange. In order to make the 'leaves' more even in color, I added glue to the top of each tree and sprinkled dark green 'grass' on them. It's easier to grow trees today than it used to be! In the course of collecting different ones for my O gauge trains layout, I found some to be better than these, while others weren't. There are a lot of good miniatures, but they just seem to be a bit overpriced for the size and design. If you are only decorating around your village houses for the holidays, or if you are just doing a little decorating.

The trees were all the same height, not two different heights as previously noted by other reviewers. It looked like a palm tree on top because the leaves on the top were painted a light green. A piece of cardboard was used to hold all the trees and they were painted. My train layout will look good with fake trunks like these.

I love the fact that the trunks are textured like trees instead of the typical brown tube that we usually associate with tree trunks. These hooks have a lengthy peg at the base that can easily be trimmed to size. There is no risk from the leafy covering. This is a purchase I will definitely make This service is well worth the cost (which is typically much less than what you can find in a hobby store.

This is a poorly finished project

It appeared that the tops of trees were a solid lump and discolored, as if they were made upside down on a tray and did not get any glue and color pooled around the middle. Perhaps I should cut off the very top of the tree, but the rest of the tree appears to be fine. Paying for a completed item won't be convenient for me if I need the item fixed.
