Poor weaknesses and cool kit
3/5

My experience spans over 60 years with model rockets. Got an appetite to introduce myself to my 5-story office. year- In order to share my love of rockets with my grandson, I picked this kit. The : Rocket itself is quite large, and the dual recovery system provides a fun twist on another simple parachute. A couple issues however, may prevent you from using it. Starter kits like this are good for the inexperienced user due to the ease of assembly and high level of performance. It was very quick and there was no difficulty with engine igniting. It is not difficult to assemble the pad, but a very young child needs substantial help with assembly in order to have any chance. Assembly is easy enough and not requiring much effort. Despite the decals, the rocket still looks nice in the hands of the guy. This is one of the most exciting launch launches ever made (especially with a "C" engine). It is never an inauspicious launch that will fail. Key weaknesses:
- Despite a great deal of preparation for the flight, the recovery system never fully deployed in five out of six flights. There was a failure in ejecting the rocket's recovery wadding, despite the best efforts to pack it as tightly as possible. I'm Too In This Correct Fit: I don't want to opertation: Overly loose: A fire caused by the shock cord and parachute. This was an issue I couldn't solve. 5 trips were enough to cause the rocket to beat around in a corn field- long jump into the air. The landing and ejection of the airplane were both hard.

- A launch controller of this type does allow for proper operation and functions, but the wires are a little fragile.

- Despite Estes' stated preference, he prefers the USELESS rubber band before using the shock cord. The model is in this version): In extreme cases, you can expect recovery wadding to burn and break off despite careful packing. Fiber is a must for them. It is possible to tether a car with elastic or keplar cables.

- What do people usually want for their niest- Peel- You're not going to get a good product if you use the and-stick decals. The quality of the fabric can never be guaranteed; every surface is replaceable or not so beautiful. The finished surface of the tube will probably be scratched off if you misplace it. During the process, some stickers become clearer, but the ones that remain are not blurred. It would be a good idea not to touch them, or if you did, to simply apply the small ones to the flat plastic surfaces. Yet the old water is something I'm very proud of. Applying slide decals is easy, and they're 1000 times prettier than applying regular ones. Yes, it's not a bad kit, just not very well constructed. If you are new to the hobby, you should carefully read through the instructions (though there are some clues). If the rotors and the parachute are to be used, might you get better luck? It is necessary to purchase plastic model glue, recovery wadding, four alkaline AA batteries and engines (about 15 units per person). A dollar is 20 cents).

Suitable for rocket booster flights by wlybird
3/5

When considering purchasing this rocket, I would not have done so if I had read the previous customer reviews. As I said before, after launching two of these rockets, I agree strongly with those observations regarding the failure to deploy recovery pieces. In addition to inferior quality, this kit includes other parts that are inadequate.

Money is not worth it
3/5

In almost every aspect of setup and launch this rocket is straightforward, however its parachute has not been deployed as often as a number of the bad notes here due to the blade blades on its cone preventing separating just as well. It is always safe to buy from Estes as long as you're doing it on your own. I highly recommend buying a starter kit from Estes instead, unless of, you want to throw away $50+ on a beginner's rocket.

If you modify this to a small extent, it can do the job
4/5

As I noted in one review, the nose cone and helicopter blades did not break the following year. To understand more, I conducted a test with my brother-in-law and he blew through the engine mounting (before his airplane was even flown, before its nose cone was damaged) My experiment led to a thin cylinder that was just smaller than the inside diameter of the tube and as thin as a index card. During installation, it fits the tube loosely enough so that the shock cord can go across it and we packed on the body tube along with a parachute and shock cord. After returning to blowing with the piston, all parts of the nose cone and helicopter blades should expel cleanly. Indeed, multiple flights were successful. There is an exception, however, when there is a combination of the C6 and the D6. At least five feet was exposed by an upper body breeze. Even with the addition or our ejection Piston, this was yet another wonderful kit. The niece and nephew like that they can chase down two parts instead of one. The instruction is for the C6 if that's how you interpret it. The product is exclusive to B6 but works on anything 5 or higher. 4 too. In contrast to other styles using a more powerful battery, a 4xAA launcher uses fewer batteries, so the ignitors take a long time to start burning. I think the three segment launch rod is inescapably fragile. You should, therefore, buy something made of 1/8-inch solid aluminum from the hardware store.
