Itchy skin due to water/road traffic. These packs will be used in my RC car that is capable of 6S. These two devices give me four years of power in a package that is lightweight and compact. These were used and abused by me. The first time I ran I hit a culvert full of water and wrecked my bike. Added a fresh battery to both. In addition, I ran them really hard. I didn't expect them to last for so long, but they dried out and recharged without a problem. Now, I've run them for about ten cycles at very high speeds. Yet, they have not swollen a bit. There appeared to be no harm done to them by the water. It even started when I was 50-something but it became worse as I got older Those batteries were thrown out of the car at 60 mph. These batteries are in good condition except for a small amount of road rash
Overall, I highly recommend them. did not expect that they would be powerful enough to sustain the 100+mph speed of my electronic race car, but they proved themselves capable. Moreover, I did not think they would be as entertaining as my big Even so, my car still has plenty of torque to wheelie and spin. A big problem is that their capacity is not that big. It is recommended that a setup have a minimum of 3300 mah to prevent lipo swell, but these didn't do that. Please see the photos showing the difference between the cable sizes (18 ga vs 16 ga) and their lengths. Moreover, the plastic box at the balance connector is large enough that I cannot fit it in any compartment of the battery compartment and still be able to use the compartment cover (I don't like using Velcro straps to secure my batteries). This lipo was top notch for sure, but I was not able to use it. However, I do like the 'grip box' at the JST connector and I would recommend it.
I put the first battery on the charger and noticed that a strange noise was coming from the garage shortly afterwards. An explosion started on the work bench and a fire spread throughout the house, garage, and cars. It looked like it would be the end for these things! There were a few burned items on the work bench, but we were able to extinguish the fire with the fire extinguisher! The company I purchased from was terrible! I will never buy from them.
