The type of model you purchased determines this. The Mega 4x4 RC Monsters that are sold by this company come with brushed motors rather than brushless motors (brushed motors). The RTR version is 2S LiPo compatible, but the standard version comes with NiMH batteries. As such, if you have the brushless motor version, then you should be able to use it.
On my Axial scx10, I was pleasantly surprised by how long the battery lasted! It has held a charge for several weeks now and I have run it for a few hours each week. My expectations were exceeded by the performance of this battery both in terms of price and quality.

We received a dead battery from them! This battery is dead, won't hold a charge! I just bought it today. I have been trying to get a replacement for a while now, and they have yet to get back to me. The vendor you are dealing with is not a reputable one. A poor customer service experience!.
I bought a second to see if it acted the same way. Yes, I understand. The smart charger does not integrate with the balance port, even though it is a Spektrum device. When you fly for the first time, the batteries are absolutely incredible. Upon charge 3, the batteries appear to have full charge, but feel as if they are running on empty. A 70% throttle for take off causes a Purchasing this was a horrible experience. I would wait until something with a balance port is dropped.
The complaints have not been heard. To go with it, I also bought the cheapest Spektrum charger for about $30. There is no way I can comment on the smart features of this battery because the charger does not support them, and I do not find them that important. I like it because it charges quickly and holds a charge the same.
I invested quite a bit of money in this battery, thinking that I would be able to use it for a long time. I bought it just over a month ago, and my son has only been using it since his birthday for about 3 weeks. This phone has probably been charged five or six times before it stopped charging completely. It has been 30 days since the return period ended, so now it is just a $40 paperweight.
