In addition to enduring a whole lot longer than Big Bore shocks, they can be boosted far higher and still prevent the truck from crashing. As a whole, they work extremely well, with the small spring actuating first and then the big one if necessary. In addition to keeping the truck very stable, I also make it very easy to drive! There is something I need to do It is a Traxxas slash 4x4 Ultimate and the shocks work very well on it. A set of Big Bore shocks has been installed on my The Big Bore shocks bended really easily on both cars since they are so thin. I would rather have the pro-line shocks on both cars. I can't believe the difference in price! Lastly, I think the proline shocks on amazon are worth it, but do not buy the shocks on the proline website. They aren't worth $100 for a pair. Thanks for stopping by and please let me know if you need any further assistance.
They will fit on the rear of the Bandit, but you may need the mounting kit # 606305.
My recommendation is to start with 30 wt and then adjust based on your results. Going lighter will help stabilize the chassis if it appears to be unsettled. Go heavier if the chassis seems to sag and the handling seems to wallow. It is a good idea to start out with 30 pounds.
It would still be an unfair match for the Baja Rey on a performance basis, even if they did fit. The SX10 and Trailfinder 2 are small scale trucks that go less than five mph. This shock is made for these vehicles. A 40mph racer like the Baja Rey requires shocks with a lot more oil capacity due to its large size. If I were to buy a Traxxas Big Bore or ProLine Powerstroke, I would choose those.

Watching old video footage is the first thing you should do The leaking shocks in line reviews and old reviews here appeared to be due to an old style of sealing called an Xring (great theory but just doesn't work, I've dealt with them in other applications) but the ones I got have regular rings. I found the most annoying aspect of this shock set was the additional purchases you had to make in order for Most people using these shocks on 2wd cars probably are not going to need to change the spring rate since these shocks don't require changing the spring rate. For the price of 20$ front and 35$ rear that is more than 40$ extra, plus you need a mounting kit with 1 kit for the front and rear, so that is an insane amount, all said and done, for these shocks at 140$ the performance is amazing It's pretty bumpy terrain at the local park with dips and ruts, but the suspension works like a trophy truck. The body stays level even at 50 mph and the weight transfer is smooth and effortless with the rustler VXL 4x4 with pro-drive. Trenchers working on the line. Here's the front The following lubricant weights appear on the rear red lower/secondary, yellow top/primary 40 weight oil There is a yellow primary and secondary spring oil 45W in the can. into account when you watch drag cars you see that the transfer of weight goes to the back tires. This setup does that while keeping the car from doing a wheelie. It is still possible to wheelie but only in special circumstances. In the end I could not be happier with the performance although i believe traxxas GTR shocks are also a good deal cheaper. I downloaded the gtr shocks to see how they perform, which in the end was fun, but not It's just outrageous at that price tag, they ought to include charts and graphs on what springs to order "for the shocks" for certain vehicles or purposes. It's not ok to say these should work, but if they don't you have to pay an extra $50 to have them tuned! Oh, and don't forget your mounting kit as well it's not worth anything without it!.
The reason I decided to run a few batteries before writing this review is that I found them to be quite useful. You will fall in love with them when you fill them and break them in. They have a great rebound and dampening, and they increase stability quite a bit. Using Losi 50 wt suspensions I had no problems at all. One of my biggest complaints with Traxxas suspension is that it works great for a few hours and then it gets mushy, but that won't impact I would give it a 10/10.
The installation of the Proline shocks on my Rustler VXL was fairly straightforward. My Rustler-built car would not be complete without Proline shocks, which look incredible and have adjustable settings.
It was expected to be more heavy-duty. There is a reasonable level of quality. It is nice to be able to adjust it. As soon as they are opened, they leak. We have a lot of soft springs. You could use heavier springs if you add them. It would not be worth the money to buy It is extremely overpriced for the quality of the food served.
The quality of these things is excellent. Tolerances are low, so I feel like I can just do whatever I want. I found it to be easy and didn't take more than a minute or two to fill each shock with shock oil. It's my second purchase of these, and I have been running them in my 4x4 Slash for several years. Their durability and performance have proven to be outstanding despite being heavily used!.
Traxxas Slash/Rustler shocks are the best for this 4x4 model. You can get the most durable shocks for Traxxas Slash or Rustler 4x4 VXL with Proline shocks.
I have a Slash 2WD that floats over bumps thanks to this. The difference between the stock and the model is insane.
No matter what anyone says, these are the best shocks on the market and I will use them until the day I die due to their high quality, great price, and value. jumped a 12 feet bowl when I took them to a skatepark and the shafts did not bend!.
