Questions & Answers
All of the motors sold in our store are 4pcs cw, dear buyer. Having ccw is not an option.
DSHOT 600 has worked flawlessly for me.
It should work fine; I have mine set to 6S.
Crashing and breaking the motor is rarely a reason for a new one. To begin with, these motors are quite tough.

These were purchased so that I could build a less expensive quad that I could use to improve my racing and freestyle skills. I traded in my Mr Steele for these until the bells for my bent-bell motors arrived. I did not return! They have a lot of power, good throttle resolution, are responsive, and have taken a lot of abuse and still keep going! There are no bent bells, and any 5-inch prop will suffice. They're fantastic little motors, and I now have two sets on two different quads. You will not be disappointed if you purchase a set right now. With RPM filtering, they're also quite quiet on BF. In addition, I receive four points. Flight time: 7 minutes with 5045 cyclone props and a 6s 1300mah battery. I fly at 30 miles per hour. 40% throttle and a little punch out I'm going to order another set for my TBS Source One V3 build.
Smooth motors at a fraction of the cost of other brands. Good construction, good windings; however, do not use the included motor mount screws. They're a tad excessive in length. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> One of the bells deformed after just one crash, and it wasn't even a bad one. Although there is no visible damage, the wheel will not spin. I would not recommend this product.
On 6s, it runs well, but on 5043 props, it gets a little hot. Many collisions have occurred, and the vehicle has held up. I took it apart, cleaned it in an ultrasonic cleaner, and reassembled it, and it still works fine (only bearings and bell, wiped down the base with a cloth). highly suggested.
Excellent efficiency, which is precisely what I was looking for. My emax 2306s were consuming my batteries at an alarming rate, so I switched to these. They aren't even close to being smooth. For my old motors, I can now increase my pid rates rather than lowering them. Instead of 55 amps, they only draw up to 35 amps.
These are fantastic motors. For the past six weeks, I've been flying with them. Although the power isn't the best, it's adequate for the size. This is fantastic. I was even involved in a serious car accident on the road. While they did get a little road rash, they didn't have any issues with performance. In general, I'm pleased.
If you want your quad to move faster and more agilely, these are the motors for you. Combined with a 5. 1 props I was a little apprehensive about going full throttle. The quad was already moving at half throttle! It packs such a punch that you have to be able to control the flight when running on CNHL 1500mah 6s. I will definitely be getting these motors again for my next drone build.
A 6S battery is not recommended for these motors. After a month, I smoked one. They get very hot if there is any aggressive flying through gates.
I really wanted to like these because the performance and battery life were excellent, but after a few crash-free flights, the bells on two of the four motors began to separate. If it hadn't been for that, I would have given it five stars. Maybe I just got a few duds and you'll have better luck?.
