Questions & Answers

The glue can be used on foam, but what about safety?

If I were to use it on foam, I would not use it on styrofoam and As a result, it does not bend once it has dried. Whenever I want to join two solid items, this is the glue I use.

What is the clarity of this Dry?

The clear finish does indeed dry

In the mythbusters episode "super adhesive heroics", was this the super glue used? On their website they claim it is, but I can't find any proof of that?

However, I would not be surprised if it were true if further verification can be found. The content here is awesome. There is no need to worry about it spreading elsewhere since it is thicker than ordinary superglue (although there is a gel version now) and easy to put where you want it. All Cyanoacrylate adhesives should have a similar strength, at least as far as strength is concerned.

Ivory looks good on it
4/5

The glue is good for mending ivory boxes with very thin sides, but not so good for mending orchid terracotta plant pots with damaged edges.

There is a solution to my secret problem
5/5

The Zap program has been very helpful to me The best "Instant Glue" today is offered by Gap and it has been available for about 15 years. Because it's so easy to repair some of my customers' items, I call it my Secret Solution because they wouldn't need my services again if they knew how easy it is. Because it takes more than a few seconds to cure, you can get a chance to arrange the broken pieces. As the paint ages, it requires more time to cure. It takes about 3 minutes for the glue to cure after your first open the top, after 3 months it takes a bit longer and after a year it takes about 15 minutes. In any case, your bottle will need to be replaced sooner rather than later. Get familiar with what you are working with by starting out with a small bottle. In addition to using this large bottle for various repairs, I also use it for other materials such as leather, vinyl, and fabric. Using it for something you may someday wish to disassemble, such as furniture joints, is not recommended. You won't be able to put it back together! Antique Snob, a website for antique lovers.

This glue is amazing! It has been almost a decade since I used Zap A Gap, and I couldn't imagine living without it if I didn't! Among the many knives I have made as a hobby for many years, Zap A Gap has stuck many of the difficult parts with some epoxy A marvelous finish goes a long way in reducing pores and giving a dewy and shiny appearance! You don't want to get your fingers stuck! When you need to clean your fingers in a hurry, Acetone will do! Home repair projects are a breeze with this tool! There's magic in this! Albert E
