These were much better quality than I had expected! I had bought a few at Walmart before making this purchase and those were cheaply made and easily broke. I think these are way Initially I was concerned that they would be torn, but there were sections and it was easy to detach them. The quality is much better than I anticipated and they are much harder to break. They were used as Halloween decorations for a French Quarter party. Due to the sheer number of them, I may even give some out with candy.

It is a good set to use for jewelry or decorations, despite the paint chipping easily. Using these beads made it impossible for me to make my favorite bead dogs, Mardi Gras bead dogs. Because the bead breaks before the string does, I had to cut the string to make the charms.
