Questions & Answers
Because each die has a wild card, you can throw one and take one chip from any player, two and take two from any, or one and one from any. If you throw three times, you get whatever is currently in the pot. It adds a touch of whimsy to the game.
When I get three wilds, I take from other players to reduce their chances of winning. If that doesn't work, I'll take three coins from the pot and keep playing until the coins fall back into place.
It's the same concept, except that if you roll a wild, you get to take $1 from any of the other players. If you roll two wilds, you can take $1 from two different people; if you roll three wilds, you get all of the money in the center, but the game continues; it's a fun twist!
You take turns rolling until someone passes you chips, at which point you can take another turn. With lottery scratch tickets, we have an adult game night. Of course, you are not allowed to scratch your tickets until the game is over.

It is a hit with everyone, from kids to grandparents. The dice are of good quality; however, we bought another brand (not the wild version, but the original LCR) for a lower price, and the dice quickly chipped. br>This is the second time we've bought this version because Grandma liked it so much that she took it home with her. By the way, our kids, ages 7 and 9, enjoy playing as well, so you can keep everyone entertained at a family gathering. br>We preferred the wild version to the original (for a visual representation of how WILD works, see the image attached).
Much more enjoyable than the standard Left Right Center game. This game's WILD allows for some strategic thinking. The basic version of this game, without the wild, is entirely based on luck and requires no thought. The addition of WILD spots on the dice gives you more options in this cool version. With options comes strategy, which can influence the outcome. Of course, it's still a dice game, so there's no guarantee. Allowing you to choose who you want to receive a token from, on the other hand, is a huge plus. Not only are you taking rather than simply giving, but you've also decided to take from the guy across the table rather than the people directly next to you (since they might roll to give you tokens anyway). Or perhaps you chose to take the last token from the person sitting next to you in order to prevent them from rolling. It's also cool that if you roll all three Wilds at the same time, you can get the pot in the middle. This is extremely uncommon, and it has only happened once before. And, in our case, the person who received the pot at the time did not win in the end. As a result, nothing is certain.
My family adores Left Center Right and plays it for quarters whenever we have a get-together. I'll admit, I've never been a fan of the combination. I'm not a big fan of games that don't give you a lot of options, require a lot of skill, or require a lot of strategy. It's nothing more than a game of chance. br>br>However, Left Center Right Wild corrects this by replacing one of the three "dot" sides with a "Wild" side, allowing you to pick a person to steal a chip from whenever you roll Wild. The center pot is yours if all of your dice are wild. This gives the game more variety, strategy, and a competitive feel. br>br>However, even in this form, I believe LCR has flaws. I rolled all Wilds and got the center pot, which was nearly full as we approached the end of the game. Despite this advantage, I lost every quarter because that is how the game is played. Even if you have all the chips and a huge lead, you'll almost certainly lose them all. In every game, the final winner appears to be entirely random. br>br>Some people enjoy playing games of chance that are completely random. This one might appeal to you if you do. I'm just glad there's a version I can play because I'm forced to play it anyway.
Before this version with the "Wild" dice, my cousin introduced us to the game; I've read some of the negative reviews, and those people need to get a life and loosen up. They say it's a dull game. That has never been my experience. We don't use chips; we use real cash. Our chips are made of $1 bills. There was no jackpot before, but now it exists. When a person wins the lottery, they go insane. I'm looking forward to playing this game with my friends on my next camping trip.
Playing this game with the kids was a lot of fun. To make it more exciting to play, we've changed a few of the rules. It's a lot of fun to be knocked out of a game and then have the chance to come back and win. Because the games move quickly, we begin with more chips in hand and only need to roll two wilds together to win the center pot, as well as distribute a token to each player if three dots are rolled at the same time (rather than being safe). If three "C"s are rolled, we must also place all of our chips in the center. It is available for purchase. It's going to be enjoyable for you.
I could see this game devolving into a shambles, but we had a lot of fun with the new "Wild card" option. We had two people roll three wilds (which they claim is "rare") in our large group of about 25 people who played it. We set it up so that if you rolled three wilds, you simply kept (pocketed) the money in the "pot," and the game went on as usual. Every New Year's Eve, we play LRC (the original version), but the new version seems to be a hit. It's easy to become vengeful when you steal money from another player, and there were actual strategies devised!.
When you have a lot of people over, this is a great game to play. It was hilarious to play with a group of 11 people. You'll never want to play the standard LCR game again once you've tried the "wild" dice. We had a great time all night. It's a game changer to be able to take a chip away from anyone playing when a W appears on the dice.
This was purchased as a holiday gift for my family. We've played LCR before, but this time we're adding wildcards to the mix. I brought several rolls of quarters as Grandma to help fund everyone, including my son and daughter-in-law. Law and grandkids spent a lot of time together playing, laughing, and exchanging quarters. You can also play with the provided chips, but we think it's more fun to play with real money.
