It's essentially the same game. The boxed version, I believe, includes a few extra cardboard pieces, but nothing that changes how the game is played.

if you didn't have any other games to play. It'd be something if you were forced to play it. I'm guessing to have a good time. However, learning it is extremely difficult, and after putting forth the effort, we decided it was not worth it. in the category of stupid. br>br>I was honestly blown away by all of the positive reviews for this, and I was looking forward to it. Shocked. Because, as stated, it is either dumb or very close to being dumb. Maybe the very top of dumb, or the very bottom of just an average game that you'd never play but has been sitting in your game storage place for years and years because you have other games to play.

We played this as a family with our 13 and 10-year-old sons, and we had to read the directions and parts over and over to understand them. Our kids didn't pick it up very well, and they've played the earlier version of BANG, but this version is complicated to say the least. It's not a simple game, and I think after a few times of playing it would be fine, but you could never send this game off with a bunch of kids to figure out for themselves.

BANG has been mentioned before, but I've never had the opportunity to play it. It does have a lot of rules, I must admit! It's preferable if at least one of the players has previously played the game; otherwise, you'll waste a lot of time trying to figure out the rules. However, once you've completed that section, the game is truly enjoyable! I would strongly suggest it. It's a fantastic addition to my board game collection for me.
