Dear Kristin, the yellow and red piece can be Velcroed together to create a climbing wall, and other pieces can be separated to create a plaything.
As my grandson's grandfather, I bought him this climbing set and I have watched him use it multiple This is the first and only toy to which I've seen anything even remotely resembling a marble. There is nothing I can make sense of in that warning.

I'm very happy to get this set for my little ones. Their mother has been gifting them the same set since the day they were born, and they've been using it endlessly throughout their lives. Since they are easy to clean and soft, these are terrific for crawlers and toddlers to develop strength and play on! I have two kids now, ages 3 and 6, but even today, even as adults, they love to build obstacle courses with these, or set them up as seats or footrests in our movie room. The wedge is always a topic of contention - Our collection includes a "slide" piece shaped like a barrel, and we felt it was appropriate for their obstacle courses and construction structures. I found these to be the best value on Amazon. The first set I purchased from a baby store cost three times as much as the one I bought from this store, and I only got a few pieces extra. Additionally, this set is slightly better quality due to its firmness and to the zippers and velcro attached to the clothes. Choosing this investment over other options is a wise decision since it will last years and years and will be used every day.
