My reaction to receiving this was very positive. Then the incomplete nature of the alphabet was discovered shortly thereafter. I would not have concerned myself with this problem nearly as much if not for the fact that my 18-month-old son's name contained the letter C, and I was trying to spell his name when I realized that letter C was missing. Despite being pretty neat, this issue turned it into one of the worst toys I've ever owned. As other reviews have stated you cannot replace letters, I will need to create a letter "C" of my own (others pointed out you cannot replace letters), but I cannot make it The toy will certainly bring better luck to you if you purchase it.

Our first set of trains was so beloved that we wanted to get more so we could make bigger trains and spell words with more letters. We bought the new build a train set a few years ago and loved it so much that we wanted more. It would be a great idea to pair it with other mega blocks, as well! Adding more to that is always a good thing! There are no mega blocks we don't love! You can count on them to last a long time. Neither the first set nor any of the others have cracked or faded. The three year old who plays with it finds all sorts of ways to do so. The train is the perfect place for her to put her tiny dolls and build letter towers. However, she loved this set years ago when she was a baby as well. I highly recommend it for anyone of any age! It does seem to be popular enough with him, but I find it a bit dull. The player only plays one song (ABC's), and it stops halfway through and you have to push the button until it continues. The reason I chose this one over some other Mega Bloks is because it has the letters printed on it. Stickers are so tiring to place on toys because I know my child will pick them off, and I don't want to place stickers on toys he'll pick.
