It was easy to tell when I opened the package that they had a strong chemical smell, and I shouldn't have been able to walk away without washing them. In all, he had seizures for two weeks from this ball and whatever was going on. Thankfully, he doesn't have any issues at all. Thankfully, he is a very healthy 7 year old dog.

After separating from the base, however, the light no longer works. Those we got on Amazon are a bit smaller, softer, and quieter than the other ones we got. The lights still light up and bounce well despite having been in our home for years. It is no problem for my dogs to chase them and retrieve them. I am disappointed.
