If I buy this loom for my daughter, can she make a blanket out of it? I have never used a loom before, but if it fits her, could she use it to make a skirt? A loom has never been used by me. I crochet and knit instead. ?

She chose this loom because it was lower in price and more durable than most of its competitors. Even though it is marketed as a toy, it is better than the real thing. There's no problem with it for her.

My grandchildren got this as a gift from me. Initially, I wanted to weave a simple cloth with it, but the thread would easily come off. You have to tape the threads down to stop them from unraveling. Is it possible to use a longer piece of wood for the base pieces?.

We need more direct directions from the manufacturer and additional suggestions on how to proceed. A lot of help is needed to get started and when it comes to ongoing assistance. My only wish is that it was less complicated and easier to navigate.
