I recommend it to anyone over the age of 7! As far as sewing was concerned, she needed assistance mostly with peeling off the backing from the adhesive stickers, but after I lined up the holes and pinned in place, she was able to do it

The kitchen was in my sights, so I was able to supervise her work in the kitchen. Each animal was cute and she seemed very pleased with the way it turned out, and she seemed very satisfied with the result. Approximately two hours is the time it took her to paint each animal. The process of making one each day excited her, and she looked forward to starting a new one the next morning. They were given away as gifts to friends and cousins in the family, and she was quite proud of this! The product is of good quality!.

Make this fun spring break craft with your kids

I was surprised by how cute the stuffed animals turned out, and my elementary school boys enjoyed working on this project. The kit includes scissors, so there is no need for additional supplies. It is easy to locate projects that fit into different skill levels by using the difficulty ratings for the animals. Although a person with fingernails can remove the stickers for the tiger, the backing can be difficult to remove. It was the only downside, because my youngest still felt like he did it all on his own.

The fun part

Sewing these together is a lot of fun for my 10-year-old. It is nice, though, when she can do so much of the project herself. I still have to thread the needle and tie the knots (I let her try a few times so she can get the hang of it). Her dolls and other stuffed animals will become pets once they are done. The girls are having a great time with her.
