Yes, if it's sold by Amazon; however, if it's sold by a third-party seller on Amazon, you'll need to contact them; most of the time, it'll be stated on the page about returns and refunds!
The quality, as well as the fact that they aren't chalky, has impressed me. For the price, it's excellent quality!
They come in a flimsy cardboard box with a thin plastic insert, which I divided into two empty tins, each containing 12 cookies. I didn't think the box would be able to withstand being wet. Furthermore, there is no area for mixing. On Amazon, you can purchase empty watercolor tins. You'll need a tin that says it can hold 48 half pans or 24 full pans if you want to keep all the colors in one place. 21 of them will fit in a 24 half-pan tin.
No, I do not believe that is true. My set was purchased on Amazon and shipped directly from the manufacturer in St Petersburg, Russia. Only full sets were available, as far as I could tell.
Selected User Reviews For Sonnet Watercolour Paint Set - 24 Whole Pans - for Professionals, Beginners and Enthusiasts by Nevskaya Palitra from Russia
Watercolors are so beautiful! You'll need a lot of water to lighten up the color because it's so richly pigmented and vibrant. These are fantastic. Like fireworks, the way they bloom and spread on wet paper is so beautiful and amazing. It only takes a couple of strokes on the pan with a wet brush to activate these, and the color is fully developed! Because these are whole pans, I expect them to last a long time. moist.
I wanted to own Sonnet after seeing so many glowing reviews on YouTube, Amazon, and other sites. They merged with the rest of my groups. Schiminke is a German word for "slime. " W & Horadam Cotman. Well, I'm not crazy about them, but there are a few things I like about them: Sonnet is more opaque than Cotman (both student grade), colors don't mix as well on dry paper, and colors are more vivid but less natural. Because of the opacity, mixing your own colors and, in particular, layering, is more difficult than with W. However, because we all have different styles and preferences, my disadvantages could be your advantages. Sonnet aren't at the top of my list as an amateur with some experience with several watercolor brands, but I like to use them for practice and doodling. I was pleased with the paintings they produced. I recently upgraded my rating from 3 to 4 after realizing how good they were. PROSbr>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- br>br>- colors that are vibrant and strongbr>- When it comes to drying, keep the color intense (beat prof. In this regard, Schiminke)br>- Excellent value for money!!
- Full pans will allow you to complete a large amount of painting. br>br>CONSbr>- DS, Schiminke, and WNbr>- more opaque than DS, Schiminke, and WNbr>- Layering isn't idealbr>- a couple of colors (purples, orange) that aren't my favoritesbr>- Because the packaging isn't ideal (other companies do it too), you can use your own box (I put mine in a $2. 50 plastic bag). I use my own palette and have a 99-box from Daiso that works great. I've attached some SONNET paintings.
THESE. PAINTS. So I've been dabbling in watercolors for about 5 years now. I paint for a few months, become frustrated, and then forget about it for a while. br>br>Over the years, I've spent way too much money on watercolor supplies. I believe it stems from a desire to acquire skills that cannot be acquired through other means. br>br>I was considering purchasing the White Nights watercolors, but then I came across the Sonnet watercolors, which appeared to be very similar but were slightly less expensive. br>br>This is the first set I've owned that I think does everything I want it to. It doesn't appear to lift when I don't want it to, it doesn't produce muddy colors, and all of the colors are transparent enough to layer over one another without looking foggy. It's something along these lines. . . Everything I've always wanted in watercolors but couldn't afford without spending a small fortune. I'm sure there are some light fastness issues, but I'm still learning, so it's not a big deal. I'll have to conduct my own research and tests. For the time being, I've divided the colors into two tins: one for my common colors that are labeled as being light-colored, and the other for my rare colors that are labeled as being dark-colored. One for the possibility of fugitive colors and another for speed. br>br>I was seriously considering ordering extras, but I decided against it. It's a joke. I'll see what I can do about prying out some of the paint and putting it in half-way. It'll fit in my small Cotman pocket sketchers box because it's made out of pans.
However, it was well worth the effort! I just got my order, and I'm not happy with it. To begin with, the packaging was very sloppy and appeared to have been sent in a hurry. There was no plastic or other means of holding the colors in place. They were all out of place, so I had to rearrange them. The colors are dusty, with white paint debris on a few of them. I'll still give them a shot and give a fair assessment of the paint's quality. I will, without a doubt, provide updates. ***Update: br>br> Even though my first impression wasn't great, I think these colors are worth a shot. The colors are very vibrant, and I really like the finish. In my previous photo, you can see the swatch. For the time being, I'm very pleased!.
I'm still new to watercolors, but I spent a lot of time looking into different budget-friendly brands to start with. So far, I'm really digging these! They're simple to blend, and even when printed on cheap paper, they come out looking vibrant. I'm looking forward to trying them out on some nicer paper. I'll also give them a review on my YouTube channel! EllieP. The packaging was the only flaw. br>br>Artsbr>br> They were packaged in a much larger box than the watercolor set. All of my pots and pans were strewn about the room. With the little swatch sheet they give you, I have no idea which color is which. So, whoever is shipping them, just fix that, and you're good to go.
This is a great selection! Due to delivery issues during the pandemic, it took more than two months to receive the package, but I am so glad I waited. This set of watercolors does not let you down! A rich opaque or transparent stroke can be painted quickly and easily. There was such a difference in the vibrancy of the colors when I compared them to my two other sets (I won't name them, but they're good brands). The following are some important details to be aware of when purchasing this kit: It comes in a cardboard box rather than a container. The pans are removable because they are loose. has a color reference sheet made of plastic; The package was sent from Russia; The colors are bright and opaque. Color combinations are excellent.
I've been having a lot of fun with the set and was surprised by how vibrant and vivid the colors were! There are no streaks or chalky residues. This raises the bar for "studio/student quality. " I'm so glad I gave them a shot! I only wish that individual colors from Amazon sellers could be added to this set.
Due to Covid, the seller contacted me and informed me that Russian customs was causing delays, and she offered me the choice of canceling or waiting. Waiting was the option I selected. It didn't bother me in the least. I didn't have to wait long, and I'm in love with these creamy, rich watercolors. The purple is particularly striking. This is a purchase that you simply cannot go wrong with!.
