My daughter is only a few months away from turning three. She has yet to grasp the concept that coloring and drawing do not require a great deal of force. She messes up everything we give her - Colored pencil ends break, markers bleed through the paper or rip it, crayons snap in half (you get the idea - (This is not a joke. ) These are incredible! They can't be broken (even with a lot of force). If that's the case, you can simply twist the end and be on your way. The reason for the four stars is that the box should be more sturdy rather than being made of super thin, cheap cardboard, and one of the pencils does not work/is broken. If I tell you to buy these, believe me when I say that you should!.
I use these to draw attention to specific passages in my Bible. I haven't noticed any smudging in my bible, and my pages haven't bled through. Compared to traditional bible dry highlighters, these have a wider range of colors. If you want a wider range of colors to work with, go for the larger pack.
I should have read the box more carefully, but the colors are all weird and random: there is no red (or any other plain rainbow color), but there is red-orange. orange, bright green, and so on.
This is fine - They have a fine crayon-like writing style and are color-blind - red, blue, and green are the primary colors used in this design. They have variations of the colors mentioned above, but they are not true colors. I like how they twist and don't need to be sharpened, and they erase well.
The color scheme is fantastic. I had placed an order for a 12-pack. I've since reordered two more 18-packs. I wish the packaging was a little more durable because it came loose far too easily, allowing the pencils to spill out.
These are fantastic. I'm probably late to the party, but I had no idea these existed until I came across them online, and it eliminates the need for a pencil sharpener and the potential mess it can cause. Simply twist the pencil and you're ready to go.
I'm attempting to use these as underliners in my physical books, but the liner insert/lead frequently breaks off. Is there a more durable pencil available (not a wet highlighter)? I'm almost 75 years old, and I'm not sure if I need a thicker lead or not.
I'm a big fan of these crayons. They're so easy to make, and I don't have to worry about getting wax on my hands or sharpening them. One disadvantage is that some of them slip when coloring, which is inconvenient, but I prefer them to markers and regular crayons in general.
