They're a "bright pastel," if that's even a word. Because of the bright colors, I purchased them for my daughter's Easter basket. They come in a variety of colors, including coral, tan, sea foam green, gray, and others, and they're a little different from other sets I've seen. We had a good time with them.
I gave the markers to my grandchildren, but they were lovely pastel shades, if my memory serves me correctly.
I would strongly advise against using these markers. I bought a dozen of these markers and was disappointed when they didn't work when they arrived. Every single marker in each package had dried up completely. If there were only one or two, I could understand. Is it, however, true that they are all of them? Nope. Not good. I went to Walmart and bought everything they had, and I was very happy with my purchase. I've placed an order for over $2000. 00 in markers since 2010, and this was the first time I'd ever had any issues, but I wouldn't take the chance again. These markers dry quickly, and there's no way of knowing how long they've been sitting on a shelf somewhere when you buy them online. Sharpie makes some high-quality gel markers that you can get at Walmart for a reasonable price, and they'd be perfect for decorating your vinyl beach balls. I hope you found this information to be beneficial. Best wishes to you.
These aren't meant to be used with write-and-wipe books, but any water-based marker will suffice. Because some of the colors in this set are a little light, I'd suggest sticking with the traditional colors instead.

These were the cheapest 8-count box of broad tip markers that I could find. I wanted them to practice calligraphy and lettering, and I'm looking forward to working on these with them. The colors may appear pastel on the surface, but they are anything but; they are vibrant, with the exception of the "coral reef" color, which is a little pastel.
Yes, these are bold pastels in my opinion. I bought these to color with, and I'm looking forward to doing so.
FYI: Make sure you don't need them to match because the colors have recently changed. Dolphin Gray is pictured here in his most extreme form. Regular washable vs. clean washable.
Many of you may be aware that once children begin to color, they want to color on everything. This applies not only to themselves and their colors, but also to walls, carpets, floors, doors, and everything else. It's great that this can be washed. It eliminates the need to be concerned about things being marked on because it is much easier to remove than regular markers, especially with cloths. The colors are beautiful, and the fabric is light and airy, which makes it perfect for an Easter basket gift, as I did for my daughter. It's something that everyone should have because it not only does the job well, but it also makes things easier for you in the event that something goes wrong. br>br>The pack isn't particularly large, but it's also not particularly small. It's sufficient to allow you to continue to enjoy whatever you're doing. I wouldn't be concerned about packing too much or running out of supplies. When you receive the package, it is undamaged and in perfect working order. They're the perfect size for any small child who will be using them.
It also includes a peach that can be used to color in people, which is difficult to come by when most sets only include a few primary colors. The peach is a nice, natural-looking color for people to color, but I would also recommend the multicultural colors marker set, which includes all different shades for a variety of colors. Because the colors are so lovely, I will definitely be purchasing more of this. She also enjoys printing them on brochure paper. Because it's smoother than regular paper, the colors blend well, and it's a fun and unique way to color. The other set I mentioned can be found here: .
I believe we are now passing them on to our third generation, but I have noticed that they aren't in good condition. They aren't as easy to clean as they used to be. The colors are vibrant, and the markers glide across the page with ease and precision. However, they do not completely wash off once they have dried on the skin. There's still a faint colored halo. It's not a big deal, and they do wash away good paint and hard surfaces. A good item for kids, but keep an eye on how much skin tattooing the little darlings get because you'll need to go somewhere special in the next day or two.
I didn't get what I wanted! This isn't the order I placed. Crayola Tropical Washable Markers were ordered in their regular form. I was drawn to them because of their pastel hue. Crayola Color Max Tropical Washable Markers are what I ended up getting instead. The Color Max collection is extremely bright, with many dark shades. I wanted pastel markers in particular, and I'm disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered, despite the product description and photos indicating otherwise. I'd be grateful for a new set of regular tropical markers or a refund.
I gave these to my 5-year-old grandson for Christmas, and while he initially dismissed them, once he realized they were "markers," he was overjoyed and danced around singing "markers, markers!" Before he got this kind, he was never allowed to use them because, as we all know, a 5-year-old isn't supposed to use them. It's a terrible thing to be old and have a marker!.
