This is an excellent addition to Crayola's product line. Crayola consistently provides excellent value for a fantastic product. It's great for beaches, landscapes, animal fur, wood, trees, and hair, as well as skin tones (thank goodness the world has realized not all flesh is pink). With this set, as well as my 120 and metallic sets, I'm ready to take on the world of coloring. CreateSpace paper, like many pencils, isn't the best way to get great results. Neenah Bristol Vellum, which costs $7 for 250 sheets on Amazon and is also available at Walmart, Office Depot, Staples, and other retailers, is a budget-friendly paper with just enough tooth for colored pencils. Because one side of the paper is smoother than the other, you can choose which side is best for you. You don't have to spend a lot of money to make great art.
Many high-end colored pencil brands do not offer flesh shades; thank you, Crayola, for assisting artists in coloring the world!.
There's a lot of variety (well, 24 skin tones counts as a lot in my book). Of course, they can be used for other things, but we keep ours in a box rather than mixing them in with our other pencils so that we can find them quickly when we need them. They're the same high-quality Crayola crayons, and they're easy to work with.
I really like the product, and I'm glad I was able to get them before they sold out or were no longer available. I also like how the color names are printed on the side of the box, as well as the pre-printed labels. sharpened.
Amer. When I was a kid, where did I find these? 👏.
Color representation of humans that is accurate.
I found a few off-center leads, and some of the colors are a little too harsh and don't lay down well, but there are a few gems in the set. Crayola needs to raise the quality of all of their products to the same level as those that are already good.
Use artist-grade portrait sets instead of Crayola brand pencils for commercial or exhibition work; these pencils aren't lightfast, but they're great for adult coloring books and kids. br>br>My pencils arrived 5 days earlier than expected. Despite Crayola's and Amazon's shoddy packaging, they were not harmed.
