I had an issue with one of the supports, but after contacting the company, they replaced it and provided another support based on the layout of my studs. Having the replacements arrive from China in a reasonable amount of time and having a representative to communicate status with me frequently was helpful. In the pictures, I have included the shelves end for end so that I created a shelf that measured 12' long. As a customer I am very satisfied with the results of the project. In addition to my impact driver, I may be able to bolt the 8 shelf supports into my 2x4 studs. As these bolts are only 1/8 inch in diameter, I drill these bolts a small 1/8th inch diameter hole to prevent stud splitting as they are 0. 9 inch long. The diameter of the circle is 29 inches. In case I need to use a socket wrench to fit the bolt head, I have the desired L-shaped socket. I have plenty of sockets and ratchets to allow this task to be completed. This is a fantastic set of It is also a bit difficult to install one of them by oneself - When you're installing them on the wall, take care to make sure they're high up. You should have someone to help you. Studfinders can help with finding your studs and cinderblock and wood baseboards can be installed. There are a lot of them- You must install four brackets at 6 feet long in what ever way you can, but all of those brackets must be installed into a stud. In any case, two out of four of the criteria must be met. Due to the fact I was working on a single wall, I had everything marked out ahead of time, and this helped me with mounting the brackets. Due to its size, installing the shelf was more challenging than I expected. The importance of having two people to do that was significant. I was done once I screwed the shelf to the brackets and placed it in its proper place. The one shelf I've been able to use is currently in use - But I need to find a spot for the second, since I am very happy with them and want the other one to be used in addition. This is recommended. The size of them is enormous- There are two full feet of space at the top of these shelves, and they are strong enough to hold heavy objects. I am very happy with my purchase.
If you only have light items as storage, these shelves are overkill. However, if you have heavy items as I do, I have found these to be the best garage shelves I have found for heavy items
