It was the only one narrow enough to fit in the space I wanted to put it in. I tried not to get plastic, but this was the only one. It will be interesting to see how the wheels hold This seems to be a durable product so far. I found it rather difficult to slide in most of the pieces -- they were not complicated, but a bit difficult to work with. Although it wasn't a deal breaker, it wasn't a deal killer either. The idea of owning one is cool, actually, as a few of my friends want to purchase one after seeing mine. It hasn't been fully filled yet, but I'm sure I have enough space for the things I use regularly.
However, in cases where pieces fit together difficultly, the pieces were good once assembled. The lid rests almost on the floor, and it is strong enough to hold large spice boxes, but the plastic isn't heavy enough to hold much laundry equipment.
