The wall mount is easy to install. A pilot hole was drilled in a stud, and I tapped and screwed it in place. I ditched the expansion piece made out of plastic. The good rims hold up well, but the bad ones are A plastic overlay over the hooks can be removed to reveal the sharp end of the hook to your wheel Tape was used to keep the ends from fraying, and to avoid the bolt caps from falling off.

The wheels cannot be used when hubs or tires are recessed

There are a lot of us who have used these products over the years and have definitely found them to be very good. However, these are not suitable for large tires or wheels with recessed rims. A tire for a UTV, a tire for an ATV. These hooks are quite sturdy, so they get 5 stars. The problem is that they are very small.

Anchors are poorly installed on this hook, but it is a strong hook

The hooks are good, but the hardware on the install is awful. Inputting the anchor in the hole and fitting the bolt into it is fine. But the lag bolt doesn't work together with the anchor. To install my own hardware, I had to purchase it.

Lag bolts with very strong, decent strength, if they are installed into studs, will be very sturdy. Items such as ladders, leaf blowers, extension cords, etc. hang from this hook.

With these, I hung my set of 19" winter tires and wheels. The product was easy to install and seems to be holding up well. Extra hooks will be used to hang other tools, and probably a ladder as well.
