This is something I bought on Amazon. There's almost a 2" hook on the hook, almost, anyway. Another thing I like about this opening is that it is almost a inch wide. There is one screw that hangs from it A 1/4 inch. A drywall anchor has a length of 1 Half an inch. Printed on the packaging, it specifies that drywall will support up to 20 lbs and wood can support up to 360 degrees of swivel.
The ceiling is 2" long (5cm) and the sides are 13/8" wide its widest point, which is the hook.
Unlike lead, it's not made of metal. Specifies a metal, but does not specify what type.
A set of them served as the wall mounting nails for a large metal pot rack in our kitchen. It is crucial that you do not just anchor them to the drywall, but also to the ceiling joists.

The hole needs to be predrilled smaller than the enclosed plastic anchor, so you should do that after reading some comments. Screwdrivers with two sizes of Phillips heads are needed for this installation. To insert the plastic expanding anchor, drill the hole and insert your hand into it. Make sure that the anchor is fully screwed in until it is flush with the ceiling with a LARGE head phillips screwdriver. It took me a while to get it out using a small head. Lucky for me, I kept anchor hardware from other kits and found five anchors that were almost intact! I was successful on my second attempt. Once the metal bolt is hand screwed into the anchor, use a small Phillips head you will screw it into the anchor flush. Use the larger Phillips head to screw it all the way in. After opening the hook unit's base and inserting the metal screw into the slot, the final step is to close the When the hook is installed, it does not have an option to tighten, and it rides a little looser than I would like, but I am fine with this. Also, I restarted the whole installation since the original spot I chose wasn't to my liking so, be aware of that before you begin drilling, and save yourself some time by doing a small sparkle job at the I hope you found this review and installation guide.
There's no way this screw could fit through plaster or wallboard, let alone into a stud an inch or more deep. I would like to know how long the screw is. There needs to be a longer screw included. It wouldn't be possible to use an off-the-shelf longer screw due in part to how the hook clamps onto the screw. As a nail, the screw head included has a flat underside. It won't be possible to clamp a hook with a regular screw. I would even go so far as to say this is a waste of money when a little more thought and a few pennies more would make it a five-star.
My anchor struggled to go through the drywall when I installed it. It works fine now. However, I first tried screwing it in using a Phillips tip, but it Because the edges of the anchor are fairly sharp, it is also painful to grasp and twist the anchor so that did not The solution I came up with was to first drill a small hole in the ceiling, then use a non-flammable tool to attach the cable Use a rubber pad to grip the anchor and twist it in as far as you can. Using pliers, I screwed it in the rest of the way, and then drilled a hole for the bolt to run through.
I really like how well these hold up! The ceiling hooks are great! I highly recommend them. Please review
The first couple of weeks have been great so far! One method we have used to hang pots rack from the ceiling is to use a couple of these. All of our pans and pots have been chef-tested The stainless steel should be of good quality Heavy), so this is holding up Before I turned them on, I was concerned, but we have been using it without any issues for several I recommend it!.
It is fragile. Originally, we were going to install it in a beam, but the beams didn't align to where the bowl should be installed. Rather than installing it in drywall, we chose to insert it into the wall. Drilling a pilot hole and using a screwdriver to insert the drywall anchor were the steps we took. I ended up with a hole in my ceiling and a piece of plastic stuck to my wall when the anchor broke near the wall. I am extremely.
I used this for hanging a chandelier, and it worked well for me. It must be noted that There is a problem with the screws provided when mounting this into a ceiling. They are just too short to go through the standard dry-wall hole There is less than a half-inch biting into the ceiling joist from the wall screw provided. At the hardware store, I bought a longer screw (3 inches), and used a Dremel tool to shape the screw head. From the manufacturer's perspective Dry-mounting of the provided screw through a wall or ceiling is not possible since it is too short This wall (usually 1/2 or 5/8) belies a heavily built interior. We need to make it at least an inch The reason I gave it (4) stars instead of (5) is because of that.
I used it to hang a dining room light in a condo in FL where I had to conceal a wire that could not be drilled through the ceiling. It was the best I could do within the confines of a swag. This hook set looks much more contemporary than our big box store alternatives. It is extremely easy to install, too!.
As I looked for an attractive hook that I could attach to the concrete ceiling of my first floor condo, I came up with nothing. It turned out to be a great choice. I drilled a hole for a lead shield that was sized to fit the "special" screw that came with it. As a final step, I applied epoxy to the outside of the shield and secured it with the screw before letting it cure for 24 hours. The hook can then be attached after curing, and it rotates on the special screw to ensure that the angle is not fixed. This hook not only looks good, but it could now be used to hang an elephant. Fasteners are included with the hook if you are using a more typical ceiling material. I am very happy with the.
