I'm not a Visa card holder.

Will it be able to support shovels and other heavy items?

I used mine for two purposes. Three hammers are required. In my opinion, it is not wide enough for a shovel handle and is probably not sturdy enough.

Are the hangers large enough to accommodate the handles of shovels and brooms? I'm getting a variety of responses. ?

Yes. The inside width is approximately 1 inch. Although I use these pegs for tools on my pegboard, they are 4 inches long and fit my broom handle.

Is it possible to use a rubber hammer with this?

This is where my rubber mallet comes in handy.

Prongs with the incorrect diameter for use on a standard pegboard

The holes in my pegboard panel are much bigger than the mounting pegs. This isn't going to work out.

Hooks that are strong and reliable

Double hooks with a nice heavy gauge. Small hammers and other tools will fit well in this container. Stable and compatible with standard pegs- board with care. br>I'll buy more, and I'd tell a friend about it.
