Unless you wear a mask that has a full rubber or plastic seal around the face, you won't get the complete filtration per inhalation that you need to weld.
Ten points are yours.
To work with mold, it is recommended that you use a P100 cartridge respirator. If you use a half mask with goggles, you should wear the full face mask. If you wish to use P100 filters by themselves, you can do so, or select any P100 combo filter.
The guidelines did not exist. So I guess it is up to you how you decide. I have found them to be very effective. This product completely blocked the smell of PVC shower pan linear glue, which was quite strong in scent.

During my organic chemistry class, I handed out these masks and we could not smell anything at all when we were wearing them. A fume hood was installed in the lab, but some students failed to shut it As a test, some of the participants removed the mask and smelled the air to see if there were any differences. These masks did significantly reduce the amount of organic vapors in the room.

They will not be able to keep out ozone despite being advertised since they do not seal to the face, even when another mask is worn beneath.

A number of employees at my company started complaining of headaches they were getting following exposure to high levels of ozone (but under the OSHA limit, too) created by one of our processes. These masks helped them to stop getting headaches or sore throats once they started wearing them. When it comes to ozone, it does a great job!.

It works great. I am very happy with these respirators. As a welder, I used these shields to protect myself from burns. I want to be able to breathe on my own without the aid of a machine when I get older, which is why Moldex 2400N95 does such a good job at filtering Despite having allergies, I wear these pretty much all the time to protect myself from dust and pollen while I trim my grass. They work great!.

I have not encountered anything better than this. It's very high quality and highly effective. I have only one complaint, which is that the nosepiece is uncomfortable and I have to peel it off, which increases I believe if the nose piece were softer and better shaped the mask would be perfect. The gloves I always wear while working with pool chemicals are great.

So that I would look crazy on my way to takeoff while I was taxiing to the airplane. Those jet fuel vapors make me sick to my stomach. The carbon in these is supposed to absorb the smell but didn't seem to work too well. Also, these are small and easy to pack. So I guess I'll have to go back to my old way of doing things Types that are disposable. If you go that route, you may as well just get a full on face mask. You're sure to get approval from TSA.

Lightweight and crushproof, this mask is perfect for travel It is comfortable to wear all day long, and is resistant to water and stains. My anatomy lab employs these masks, and they come in handy when I forget to carry my full-sized respirator when I walk in the room Respirator worn on the face. These are the same masks they sell students at the nearby med school to use in their anatomy labs. Between the elements of the filter are real activated carbons. While it works well early on, the exhalation valve tends to stick shut once condensation forms. If you don't plan to use the product, put the bag in a sealed plastic bag. By doing so, it will be able to last longer.

The size of this respirator seems a lot bigger then I need for handling mold spores. It seems to work fine with another smaller respirator inside. When I first used it, it felt like my protection was missing.
