I exactly wanted this. The brim fit perfectly into my usual hard hat. I thought that you may need a full brim hard hat to use it better, but you do not need one. Compared to other folding chairs, this one is good quality, very easy to store, and folds up easily. Protects you from excessive UV rays. I give this product 10 stars because I am very happy with it.
Our hard hats have been essential for many volunteer construction jobs we have done over the last couple years, so I bought these sun shields to protect us both from the sun. It was wonderful to receive it, but what was surprising was that my husband couldn't stop talking about how much cooler he felt and how he wished he had begun using it earlier during I highly recommend purchasing, don't think twice about it.
My first thought was that they were kind of goofy looking, but then I realized that keeping the sun off of me made such a huge difference that I didn't give a fig about how they I have bought one for every one of our guys at work, they love them, and I have had to stock up on extras so I have some available for customers who stop by. You really get your money's worth at the end of the day when you don't feel completely drained as a result of being in the sun all day and you can get more energy by going to bed later.
Has the potential to do what it's designed I can keep the sun off my neck this way. Construction workers and people who spend lots of time in the sun can attest to the fact that the sun loves the back of the neck. That doesn't have to be a concern with this product. A Velcro strap on the sides of the apron may be used to attach it.
The workplace provides hard hats with plastic sun shields that clip on to them. A problem is that they blow off and the plastic tabs that hold them on break when it is windy. I've had this sunshade for a number of years. I've had it blown off on several windy days. You can clean it fairly easily. It is bright yellow and has reflective properties Thank you so much for your kind words.
As well as my husband, my dad takes care of my mother and it works great for them covers their faces really well, makes them easy to see and prevents accidents from happening.
Getting the most bang for your buck These are unbeatable from a price point of view. Having your helmet a bit wider makes the difference between being beaten up by the Sun at lunch time and cruising right to the end of the ride. The learning curve of using a wider helmet isn't that steep. Moreover, it even folds up in that "twisty folds that intermingle on themselves" trick used by car sunscreens.
Do you think it's funny that the sun shade looks so goofy? I'll also mention it protected my neck from so many sunburns during our 60+ days of temperatures above 100 degrees! Then I guess it's okay to be made fun of, as long as I don't have to cry from the Oh my gosh.
