Questions & Answers

Is it okay to weld with these?

The gloves are good for handling sharp metals, and they provide a degree of heat insulation, but I cover them with a heavy cotton shirt to avoid getting burn holes.

Splashes of hot grease need to be protected?

My company manufactures rubber and used these during the past few years to heat up over 380 ovens. It was possible to splash heavy amounts of oil or grease, but I wouldn't recommend it. I recommend these as a burn prevention method. They are so great!

It is not a good material It's hard to know how these would be for any other aspect of welding, but they're not good
3/5

The knit is not tight enough to prevent sparks from hitting your arms, and while they burn only for a split second, they are sure as hell distracting, and they leave burn marks on your arms. You can wear these if you are wearing a long sleeves cotton shirt to help prolong how long the shirt lasts and to protect your arm from being burned by hot objects, but they will not protect your bare arm from 100% of the sparks that fly off when welding. The first 30 seconds are up There are two gaps for 2 to pass through. Taking this approach, if u buy these like I did, i wouldn't need to wear a long sleeve short on a hot day and would opt to just put them on right before There is no way to use these If you want to fully protect your arms against sparks under them, you need to wear long sleeves under them.

The use is different
5/5

Okay, no, I don't use these for welding though I do use them to protect my arm while carrying my Blue & White Gloves Its name is derived from Greek. The time between her nail clipping appointments causes her nails to scratch my arms, so I wear this to protect Everything I wear goes with it. Their love makes me happy.

This fits in with the work I do with my fused glass kiln
5/5

Fits nicely in a kiln (if you do fused Wearing them under a pair of rawhide gloves of the same length is my usual practice. My knuckles could also be covered, but I pull them down and It gets quite toasty inside my kiln when I have to open it at 1500 F, so I usually keep the lid closed. The solutions worked, but these were the best. Happy to hear that.

Whenever you do any kind of work, make sure to wear them
5/5

Okay, so I wasn't sure if this would work for the purpose we needed it to serve. I love them, especially for people who are on blood thinners, they prevent their arms and knuckles from being injured! Splitting firewood and working on cars were among the things we did with it!.

I am and others are safe because of it
5/5

In my job, I use these for the repair of equipment. You sometimes feel them hot or sharp, or you feel them both at the same time. Because of my thinner skin and blood, I have a thinner body. The equipment I work on is for the kitchen. Keeping my arms free of burns and cuts is easier with this.

Weedeating is easy and effective with this product
5/5

For weedeating, I only use the one on my right arm. With the hot weedeater out of the way, I don't need to worry about my arm. Although I do seem to make myself hotter or sweat more when I wear them, I cannot really comment on durability for I have only had them for a short time.

A good fit and quite a bit of coverage, but it doesn't quite make up for the lack of utility
3/5

But it doesn't stop you from getting burned by berries. Welder flashes are stopped by this chip, but initial heat is not prevented. This method burns fast, but it cannot last.
