This is a pretty good pair of I would guess that the gloves would be 20% better had you spent three times as much money. The gloves start off pretty well, but as they break in, the grip becomes less effective. The gloves were on when I accidentally touched hot welds too soon, and I didn't feel the heat at all. This glove fits perfectly. I typically wear medium gloves in every other brand and these fit perfectly as well. On the heat resistance vs dexterity scale, the results are pretty middle of the road. There is a tendency for them to get hot faster than some of the heavier gloves, especially if your working piece gets really hot (heating metal and will get hot). For TIG and large amounts of heavy MIG, the sheet metal is a little thick. I'm satisfied with the product overall. It's very well made, very comfortable, and the seams are holding up well. I am satisfied with the product overall for the price.
