Here's an update My gloves held together fine after I replaced some front-end components. I did get brake cleaner on one of them, however, and it damaged the coating. Although I enjoy the gloves, I have to give them 4 stars due to the sticky substance that other people have In the last five or six years, I've just started wearing gloves whenever I work on cars. I've worked on cars for more than 40 When I wore the yellow harbor freight gloves, they disintegrated in the palms. The stitching on the gloves made them come apart when I tried to wear them.
